Best

Molino Rojo is by far the best authentic Mexican restaurant in San Antonio, I love the homemade tortillas and their fajitas are to die for. This has been a Saturday morning break...

Worst

My husband and I ate here a couple of months ago. His food was edible, but mine was terrible. The meat was tough and had no flavor, and was of very poor quality. I couldn't eve...

Best tortillas this side of MEXICO! 12/30/2008

Molino Rojo is by far the best authentic Mexican restaurant in San Antonio, I love the homemade tortillas and their fajitas are to die for. This has been a Saturday morning breakfast tradition in my family for over 5 years...even after I moved out my family still congregates there to enjoy good food and good times. They do not have a liquor license @ this location but the family owns another Mexican food restaurant just down the road called Los Generales, this is more of a sit down, typical dinner restaurant, with good drinks and a larger menu! Both locations are fabulous!!!! Molino Rojo is cheaper but the atmosphere is different...no live bands or waits (which is perfect for me). more

Best TexMex 1/21/2008

This is one of my favorite TexMex restaurants! The enchiladas, carne guisada and puffy tacos are great. The prices are good, too. Pros: Good food Cons: Sometimes it is very busy! Unless they come on the skillet, don't get the beef fajitas. more

One of best Tex-Mex restaurants in NE San Antonio. 5/11/2007

This place is always full, but we've never waited more than 15 minutes for a table. The food is fresh and the price is good. Personal favorites are the enchiladas verdes, puffy tacos and carne guisada. The owners have another restaurant a couple of miles away (Los Generales) which has the exact same menu but is in a newer, bigger building and has evening entertainment on weekends. Pros: Food freshness, staff friendliness Cons: n/a more

Poor quality and an overall bad experience 5/26/2006

My husband and I ate here a couple of months ago. His food was edible, but mine was terrible. The meat was tough and had no flavor, and was of very poor quality. I couldn't even finish one taco. This place was busy when I went, and I could not believe the poor quality in food in comparison to the amount of people here. I will NEVER eat here again. Cons: Bad food! more
