We had heard of this restaurant that offers fresh and natural food at reasonable prices, so tried it for breakfast after I picked Mary up from the airport. The venue is relatively new, this being the third restaurant (they are also in Glendale and Boulder), and the atmosphere is clean, bright, mod. But better than that, the food was excellent. The menu is fairly short and simple, but the choices are also fairly eclectic, so rather than just a standard bacon and eggs fair, you get breakfast sandwiches on ciabatta and frittatas. When you do order a standard, you get all natural, cage free eggs, nitrate free bacon and everything made fresh on site.\r

I had the rocket egg sandwich with cage free eggs, basil aoili, arugula, tomato, provolone on ciabatta (comes with roasted potatoes). Mary had the crimini frittata with natural, nitrate free sausage, crimini mushrooms, red onion, cilantro, cage free eggs, slice of toast and potatoes. We both loved the meals.\r

Oh, and for everything on the menu, they also list calories, fat, protein, carbs, fiber and sodium. Having recently had open heart surgery, I am much more cognizant of everything I eat, so this was much appreciated.\r

Toward the end, the chef came out to talk. Introduced himself as Nate and just wanted to know what we thought. We said we wanted a restaurant like this much closer to our home (we live about 12 miles away). Big smile. He said to just wait - they are expanding at a reasonable pace.\r

We'll definitely go back. It's worth the trip.
