Miyo's

I just want to say what fine service my friend and I received today at Miyo’s. We work at the SC State House, so we visited the Main St. location, and our server, Kevin, could not have been better. He was helpful, fast, friendly, and knowledgeable about your menu. We enjoyed our lunch that much more because of Kevin’s excellence. Please let him know we have shared with you how pleased we were. Miyos is one of my favorite Chinese and Japanese restaurants in Columbia. If you want a huge meal at a buffet, go down the street. If you want pretty good Chinese, there's a few around. If you want the best Chinese, made with really fresh ingredients that's always good, then stop at Miyos. The dishes are always good. The sauces are rich and subtle, and the tempura is light and delicate. This Miyos had a very modern look inside, and has a GREAT area to sit outside (covered). more

I love Miyo's. outstanding! A friend finally convinced me to go there for lunch one day and I'm so glad I did. I've since gone back and have not been disappointed. The potstickers are amazing, the wontons are phenomenal and the orange chicken entree was to die for. It's also very reasonably priced. I highly recommend it! more

Miyo's has been pleasing the palette of Columbians for years. The outdoor seating is a wonderful option during the cooler months. Take out service is speedy and convenient with a side entrance and staff assigned to the take out counter-so there is no wait! Same great food you are used to and a wonderful new dining room. more

No meat, no egg, no dairy....no problem. This is one of the best places to go in Columbia for vegan options. They recently changed the menu and it is easy to select sauces, veges, and tofu (or meat). Service is always good and the food is consistently good. Go here. more

I would like to marry Miyo's. In my dreams, it's a lovely springtime ceremony followed shortly by a bevy of little high-po pseudo-Chinese restaurant babies, which I name General Tso, Shrimp Wonton, and Moo Shu after aspects of their absolutely delicious and reasonably-priced daddy. I have been a customer of Miyos for several years. The food is great! If you are looking for a choice where you can find dishes that are both healthy and tantalizing then Miyos is the place for you. The menu has a wide selection and can accomodate every taste a person may have. Another attribute of MIyos is the management. The owner takes great strides to ensure that every customer is satisfied. One time, at Miyos in the vista, my server incorrectly entered my order (which happens at every restauraunt). The owner promptly corrected the error and did so with the upmost professionalism and a smile on her face. The management at Miyos gives Miyos the attribute I desire the most: consistency. Every meal I have is consistently wonderful. Therefore, I keep coming back to every location time and time again. Also, thanks for opening a new location at Sandhills! The new location is saving us from having to commute downtown! more

I went here for lunch on a sunny Sunday. The atmosphere was very inviting; beautiful Asian theme in the front while we were waiting for our seats, hostess was very welcoming and respectful. Once we were seated, our waiter was very accurate with our orders (we didn't have to repeat our order more than once), and our food didn't take too long at all! The presentation on the food was enticing, and it was delicious. If I would go back to Columbia, I will definitely eat lunch or dinner over here! more

Miyo's was my go to place for Chinese food in Columbia SC. The service is great, the food excellent and they usualyl have some tasty cakes for dessert! If you like Chinese food - give Miyo's a try. more

my first time eating in. i have to say that i love it, and its hard for me to say that because i have been all over the wold and eatin all over. so yes food was so beautiful and i love the presentaion. my first time in COLUMBIA SC and i didnt like it over there. my last day in SC the fam and i whent to MIYO'S and it just made my day. more
