Greenbrier Mall 6/7/2007

After living in Jacksonville, I often dream of the shopping back home in NYC. So visiting the Chesapeake area this week was a pleasant surprise! The Greenbrier Mall offers an assortment of stores. I did find a couple of cute places for junior's clothing --- I can't wait until I can start wearing my normal clothes again. They even offer military discounts at some of the stores!! It's a nice place to bring your family, they have lots of places to get snacks. I didn't see anything baby related though. There are comfy seats along the walkways which is a plus. The Sarku Japan stand in the food court serves yummy Chicken teriyaki. You might even catch their cook doing tricks with his cooking utensils like you find in a tepanaki place. lol I love the pretzels at Auntie Annie's. $2.11 is the price for a cinnamon-brown sugar pretzel. Very delicious! There are TVs in the food court so you can be entertained while you eat! My only criticism is that there were not enough escalators or elevators to transport me between the lower and upper levels. I found it tedious returning to the centrally located elevator each time I needed to move between the floors. more
