Mindy Maids

I regret this choice. Some of the work was adequate, but enough aspects were done poorly that I wish I would have chosen a different service provider. The price quoted was not the price charged. I asked on multiple occasions what I would be charged. I was charged $22 more. Out of principle, I find this offensive. I think the service provider should be required to get a credit card receipt. They were over 1 1/2 hours late. They called ahead, but an appointment is an appointment, and I expect my time to be respected. They didn't call and ask if this was okay. They merely called to inform me that they would be late. They moved around items and did not replace them. Over a half a day has passed, and I still can't find things. Their definition of deep cleaning does not sync with mine. For example, they left dusty times in rooms. They left dirty shoe prints all over the floor. Cabinets were not cleaned inside or out even though that was part of the discussion. Certain areas were just neglected. They also turned my air conditioner down 10 degrees. They did not inform me of this decision (which I wouldn't have approved of), and they left it down. Since they were late, I was extremely anxious to leave when they finished, and my air conditioning remained in the 60s. It's the little acts of disrespect that frustrated me. It wasn't the worst service ever, but it certainly was not worth the price. I would not recommend them to a single person. Some items were successfully cleaned, so I rate them 2. more

After visiting with friends and family for the holidays my gift to them was to have there home completely made over and the team over a Minndy Maids were exceptional from top to bottom. The best part about there work was there abilty to satisfy all of my immediate request and had no problem going a step further in not charging my account immediately as if they were desperate for some money. This has been the case in the past with and would hire them again for any and all my house and business cleaning service needs. If I can say one thing in addition to this, that would be that I truly appreciate there efficiency and respect for ones situation and current financial situation and love the repor we developed in this process. I totally trust them and would always recommend there services to anyone! more

In todays world it is very rare to find a company that actually does what they say. In Mindy Maids you will find just that. The staff is very personable, knowledgeable and most important honest. A great service way business is supposed to be. I have already passed along their number to many of my friends and family. I highly recommend their services. We needed to locate a company who could provide a one time through cleaning for our home, from top to bottom, in preparation for listing it on the market. We didn't know if there was a company that provided this type of service until looking on-line and I saw that this is one of the specialties of Mindy Maids! I've used this company on my son's apartment. He was on vacation and I wanted to make a little gift for him. When I got back first thing I noticed was the shiny floor in leaving room. My experience with this company has always been very good. They have helped me out of many problems that I have had. On one occasion the maid was going to be late but the company called me and let me know what was going on. The maids arrived and did a fantastic job. I have used other maid services that were very unprofessional. The maids were very rude and rushed through the house like a tornado. This was a much more personal service. The office staff always has my records on hand so that scheduling an appointment is without any complications. Like anything I would recommend that you at least ry the company a couple of times before making a judgement or writing a review. I have read some of reviews where it is obvious that the writer just likes to complain rather than giving the company a fair trial. I am a realist. None of us are perfect and should not expect perfection from those coming to serve us. This company adequately and fairly met my needs and tried to exceed my expectations. I can't ask for anything more. Another thing I really liked was their willingness to accommodate me in a crisis situation. They were willing to get a maid to work an extra shift on a day that i had an emergency need for cleaning. Mindy the owner is very professsional. Thanks so much guys for helping me out! more

I only wish that I would have thought to stop payment on my check when I used Mindy. It was a horrific experience and I can't believe they have not had the pants sued off of them by now. I could write a small novel on all that was wrong but the single most disgusting thing I will never forget is the way our home smelled when they left. Oh my gosh, it was unbelievably gross and took weeks to reverse the odor caused by their gross and apparently filthy mop. I asked they use my mop and not the one used in every place they clean. Mindy and her hired help apparently did not want to use mine and when I came back into our home it smelled of about 30 wet dogs and moldy water. We were leaving on an out of town trip and when we returned we literally had to open the windows and Clorox and disinfect every tile floor. Not to mention the smell on our floor rugs that were contaminated with the filthy odor. I would not recommend them to even the humane society.....the pets there deserve better. On July 21, 2009 Mindy Rangel of Mindy Maids was scheduled to clean my 3000 square foot home. The cleaning services promised for the price of $397 included mopping, dusting, carpet cleaning, furniture cleaning, windows inside and out, base boards, countertops, fake plants, and bathrooms (including showers, toilets, and sinks). Mindy arrived two hours late, with only one worker who she dropped off to clean the entire home alone for 2 ? hours. When we came home and inspected her work we were devastated to find that not only did Mindy Maids not clean what we had asked her to, but also that all the counter tops, lamps, and fake and real plants had been sprayed with a greasy substance. The floors were sticky and unclean. The windows still had cobwebs and streaks on them. One of our bathroom showers had been untouched and had dead insects still gathered at the bottom. The baseboards were filthy with dust and cat hair. The couch was also still covered with cat hair. The air conditioning vents were also still filthy. It was clear that Mindy Maids had not performed the services promised. We had to hire Merry Maids to come the next day and clean the mess that Mindy Maids didn?t clean and to clean up after the added mess that Mindy Maids created themselves. My wife and I called that evening to try and resolve the issue with the owner, Mindy, who yelled and refused to work with us to fix the situation and would not refund any money. My wife had hired her to come because she was going into the hospital the next day for a double mastectomy surgery and wanted to make sure the house was taken care of. When she explained this to the owner, Mindy scoffed and rudely stated, ?Well, at your age?? implying that my wife was so old that she somehow should have expected to get breast cancer. By the way, I don?t think Mindy is much younger than my wife. After speaking to Mindy on the phone and finding out that she was ripping us off we called our credit card company to dispute the charge. However, we found out that Mindy had already charged the credit card a week before our scheduled cleaning and it was too late to cancel the charge because she had already received the funds from the credit card company. We also found out that she had charged our credit card for $581 instead of the agreed upon price of $397. Not only did Mindy Rangel of Mindy Maids commit fraud on us by not performing the duties we paid for, but she actually outright stole money from us by making unauthorized charges on our credit card. Because of this we had to cancel our credit cards. Afterwards, we did some research and found multiple complaints from multiple people throughout the Corpus Christi area. We couldn?t find a single review that wasn?t extremely negative. It seems that this company has a pattern of stealing from and committing fraud on its customers and her business of fraud and theft needs to shut down. If you have been defrauded by this woman please contact me as we have contacted the police and plan to take this court. Cons: she steals your money more

I have never seen such poor service. Mindy did not clean the things she was hired to clean (cabinets not even openned) and when I asked her she insisted they had been done. Funny because several drawers had paper or towels in them and they weren't removed!! Obviously she didn't even open the cabinets let alone wipe them out!!!! I wouldn't recommend this company, or more particular this person, to my worst enemy!!!! She refused to come back and even view what had been missed. Stop payment was put on check and funds returned from bank so I was lucky I wasn't out any money. Unfortunately I'm sure there are many who have been ripped off by this women.
