Miller Organizing

Ms. Miller helped me to accomplish in a very short time what I have avoided and been unable to do myself for 10 years: a sane, usable living space. I knew I was unhappy having things in piles on every conceivable flat space and living in a state of organizational stress. But as the problem grew worse, my paralysis only deepened. I felt helpless. Miss Miller acted as the catalyst I needed, breaking the ice for me. She helped me put things the way they should be. She carefully and skillfully reorganized my basement and garage spaces into functional and usable spaces. Her creative ability to see a space for its potential no matter how small or unusual is just amazing. Ms. Miller has provided me with a system of organizational renewal and I look forward to working to keep my new experience of calm living. I now make a habit of putting things away after I've used them and it feels good to come home and see a neat and organized house. I have two more spaces I plan to hire A.J. for. I'm sure once we are done working on them I will have achieved organizational Zen. more

Summer 2005: I considered myself to be a fairly organized individual. That was before A.J. arrived. She systematically analyzed my apartment, quickly visualizing efficient and creative uses of space. A.J. began by asking questions about my daily functioning/living. By doing so she created an atmosphere in which I felt relaxed and well understood. To her, organizing is a challenge to be tackled and a puzzle to be solved. Throughout the project, I felt supported. She helped me to move forward even when I felt overwhelmed by the prospect. I was drowning in clutter and chaos in my apartment and wasting a huge amount of time trying to deal with it all. I didn't know where or how to start to fix the problem. Thank goodness for A.J. Miller and MILLER ORGANIZING. A.J. was the catalyst that got me unstuck. I expected her to be knowledgeable and have great organizing skills, but she was also gentle, funny, creative, supportive and inspiring, which really helped move the organizing process along. A.J. and I walked through my apartment and she asked me a lot of thoughtful questions about how I lived and used the space, the vision that I had for it and, more broadly, for my life, in general. Her ability to understand what I wanted - as well as to see what I needed - was excellent. And her ability to see potential in spaces that I would have thought unusable and find creative ways to maximize those spaces was really amazing. Taking into account the physical reality of my space and my goals, hopes, strengths and limitations, A.J. devised solutions that really worked well for me. I actually ENJOYED getting organized with A.J.'s help. Working with her has absolutely changed my life for the better and I can't recommend her highly enough. more
