The listing was misleading and did not mention any of the cars problems, The dealer was pushy, came across rude and had no culture of care, there were multiple problems with the car and nobody seemed to care. I've never seen a car in such bad condition at a dealership. End of story, I do NOT recommend shopping at Subaru of Auburn. I cannot speak for the service department. They may be great. more

Bad Service Department 12/27/2019

Rairdon Subaru service department is slow and understaffed. I find that they can be misleading with their information. We bought our Ascent in January and at under 14,000 miles a BRAKE warning light came on on Christmas Eve. We were heading out of town and the service department was pretty busy so I scheduled to bring it in on Thursday morning. When we arrived, the guy couldn't find us on the schedule but said they would try to get it into the shop that day, if not, then on Friday. On Friday, they called my husband and said they would need the car into next week because they were still trying to diagnose the issue and that they would need to keep it until sometime next week. They said they could give us a loaner, but they didn't have one available at the moment and to call back later in the afternoon. I called the service department to find out more details and was able to get the answer that they hadn't even started on the car - it wasn't even in the shop yet and probably wouldn't get in until next week. The way David said that they were still trying to diagnose the issue made it sound like they had it in the shop and were actually trying to find out what was going on. This is the second new car in two years that has had issues at very low mileage. I will never buy Subaru again! In the future, I will no longer use Rairdon for anything and will find another Subaru dealership that is more upfront and honest. more

Doug Fujimoto was awesome. The whole buying experience was the best I have had at a car dealership. I searched for the best price, Mike Scarff was the lowest I found. I would definitely recommend these guys to anyone looking for a new Subaru. Very nice facility and a huge selection of cars. more

Purchased a Honda Civic in excellent condition 8/7/2012

We have always been a Bowen Scarff Ford customer for years but this time we wanted to add an additional car for the houshold and went to Mike Scarff. They have the same no hassle pricing and no salesmen pressure that we have come to expect. Jay was wonderful. He had everything ready for us and we were done in 15 mins. That is the fastest buy we have ever done. Plan on going back to them for a Subaru in a couple of years. I would definetely recommend them to anyone looking to buy a car. more

I would highly recommend anyone looking for a new car to go Subaru of Auburn. We had such an awesome experience. There was no pressure we were actually able to look around the lot with out someone following us. When we were ready to test drive Jay made it such a great experience. He was patient and knowledgeable and went out of his way to make sure we were able to get the model and color we wanted. Looking for and buying cars has always been my least favorite thing to do but I will admit Jay made the exprience great. more

Good: The guy who sold me the car, Tim was wonderful. He help me created my perfect car.. Bad: I do not like the girl (I believe her name was Lynda) pushed me to buy extra things for my car that I did not want and if I said no to whatever she was pushing on me she would insult my way of doing it and calm that her product was better for me. My "perfect" car has smelled like burning oil since the day I drove it off the lot, I emailed the manger telling him and I am still waiting for a response.. Improvements: I would have them fire Lynda, I am not ok with the way she treated me and to find out she did the same thing to my parents three months earlier when they bought their car is not ok.. Other: When I first bought my car it had 54 miles on it and 500 miles later my car smells like burning oil and when I emailed the mangers telling him he did not respond back.. more

Good: Take your money really fast.... Bad: General Manager takes personal jabs at you. Don't care about younger customers. They don't do an inspection on trade-ins. My oil filter had a large gash n the back it. Oil was chunky black when i replaced it. Transmission gave out within a week, had it at their shop for over 3 weeks and without a call for eight days before i had to yell at them to call me. General Manager said he was the owner and he will do whatever he wants. Said i was lying about everything.. Improvements: General Manager be fired. Improved communication with service and its customers.. Other: Sent a letter to Mike Scarff saying everything that happened to me. Sent me a letter back not answering any questions and got the feeling he was pushing me aside because i don't matter.. more

While my 2006 Forester was in for service I wandered around the lot and landed up driving home a 2010 Forester.
