I had been there before without any problems. We had always paid in CASH, since they had a ""cash price"" that DID NOT INCLUDE TAX. Sound strange? We never knew how they did that legally, but they did and we always used that option. However, we went recently and were told that they had discontinued the policy, so I gave them our credit card of choice, our AMEX card. They told us they did not take AMEX....so we gave them our VISA, which WE HADN'T USED FOR A WHILE. The very next day, after using the card at Midori, there were a number of FRAUDULENT CHARGES made on the card. This continued for several days before the credit card company (VISA) called us to alert us and question the charges. The thieves had stolen our number and charged about $1,000 in charges at shoe stores, Game Stop and Ross for Less to name a few. They were all small charges that would normally go unnoticed. I am NOT saying that it is ""Midori policy"" to steal credit card numbers, but this is what happened. Just saying.....for cheap sushi be safe and pay cash!
