We have been banking with CB for 15+ years and last Sat. we were surprised with an overdraft charge for the sake of ELEVEN MINUTES!! My husband was ( understandably) upset and raised his voice to the receptionist... no profanity... no name-calling... nothing like that... he wanted to express his frustration and anger. We rec'd a letter CLOSING ALL THREE OF OUR ACCOUNTS... No chance for resolution- ZERO TOLERANCE...\r CB needs to change its motto... more

I was in my first Centrue Bank in Braidwood, IL last week.\r I wanted some information and the teller referred me to a lady named Marilyn. Whenever I go inside Centrue Bank,there is an line that everyone has to stand in for a few moments. The tellers, are always friendly and well inform about how the bank is run and how they are support to give services to everyone. And if you have some questions about your accounts, they will direct you to their help deskes, of helpful employees!.... Yes, they do have a change machine,where you can take your coins to turn them into dollars; because the reason I know this is because I have used this service many times before!... more

Huge Branch 7/26/2005

I went inside for the first time today. This is the largest branch. They have tons of tellers and people to help. there are some pictures set up museum style to see the changes the bank made. There is an information booth for help other than a teller. They have a coin change machine that you can do yourself and then hand the teller your slip to get cash. No fee for bank customers. more
