The first time I went to Middle Kingdom I was somewhat impressed by the food and actually enjoyed my meal. The next time I went I was not as impressed as it seemed that even though my friends and I had all ordered different chicken dishes, they were all the same dishes with different garnishes. They all pretty much tasted the same even though we ordered three or four different dishes, and that was somewhat disappointing. It was even more disappointing given that it was somewhat pricey at about $15 or more per plate. It may have been an off night since they were one of the only restaurants open on Easter Sunday...so I give them credit for at least being open. It may still be worth a try since good Chinese restaurants in Ann Arbor can be hard to come by.
