Midas Auto Service Experts Bellevue

I asked them to replace my car battery and was told it would be ready in an hour. When I went back to pick up my car, the invoice showed they conducted a battery test and analysis on the 6 year old battery and charged me $25. They should not have done this battery test and analysis thing since I was purchasing a battery from them and the old battery would be discarded anyway. I talked with them but was told that the service was performed so I had to pay. more

Responded to an advertisement for $89 brakes. I thought my car only needed new brakes and Midas came back with a $1400 list of problems that were "dangerous" if not fixed. I took the car to another shop and they found none of the alleged problems and in fact stated that the brakes probably didn't need to be done for another 15-20,000 miles. This Midas cannot be trusted and is boardering on criminal behavior. Save your time and money and go to another business. more

I asked Midas to repair my 99 Toyota camery in the morning on Aug 10. They called in the afternoon. They stated that it would cost me $950 to replace crankshaft sensor and mass air flow sensor, plus $101 for the diagnosis. I checked manual of my car, this model does not have mass air flow sensor at all. So I called them, and asked them to stop there, and release it to me. I went to the store, and inspected my car again. I noticed there's plastic debris, and some engine compartment was open. Because I inspected my car before I sent it to Midas, I did not see plastic debris at all, and everything in engine was securely connected. So I asked the store manager to explain it. He could not give much reason, and agreed to refund the diagnosis fee. I asked them to explain where the plastic debris came from, and recover my car to its previous state. He refused to do so. more

If you purchased a lifetime oil change, they have illegally raised the disposal fee from the original amount in the contract... no where in the contract does it say that it will have variable disposal fees as time goes on....(it's over a dollar increase since I started a year a half ago....) Bottom line, make them stick to the amount originally agreed upon! more

These folks have been great for us through 3 cars. Always friendly, generally get done faster than we expect, we never feel like they are taking advantage of us. more

We have had excellent experiences with Midas in Factoria. They work on most types of cars with most types of problems and have always done well. In particular, there is nowhere better for electrical issues. We have brought a couple problematic cars to them and they were able to diagnose and repair issues that befuddled everyone else. more
