Michigan Academy of Dance & Music is great! We have been with Michigan Academy of Dance & Music since the very beginning. It's amazing how much Adagio has grown in only a few years. They are very professional and academic. Great teachers and staff! The children are learning so fast and having a blast at the same time. Great annual recitals, they even give away free picture and DVD of the performance. It's been truly a Grace and Memories for life experience for us. Thank you! more

My daughter loves this place! My 7-year-old daughter has been coming to Michigan Academy of Dance & Music in Ann Arbor for four years and she loves it. She is not the princess ballerina type, who also love Michigan Academy of Dance & Music, but rather likes ballet for its beauty and fun and the challenges it offers her. The winter and spring recitals are excellent productions. My daughter also enjoys at least one week of ballet camp in the summer. more

A ballet school gem in Ann Arbor, Michigan Our two daughters have been taking lessons at Michigan Academy of Dance & Music for years and it is a wonderful school. The teachers are very committed and caring. For the very young dancers, they incorporate classical ballet steps into a fun, magical program that centers around stories children know and love. For the older children, they have a variety of classes, including intensive ballet classes. A Company class focuses on choreography and performance, and truly leads the children to new heights. more

A Wonderful Dance School Our daughter has taken dance at Michigan Academy of Dance & Music from its founding. We adore the teachers, we adore the program, and we have always been very impressed with the rigor of the instruction and care of the teachers. They believe in fundamentals, they believe in hard work, and they believe in having fun at Michigan Academy of Dance & Music - which is why our daughter has stayed with the program all these years. Our daughter also has made close friends at Michigan Academy of Dance & Music, and her skills have transferred wonderfully in athletics and more generally in social life: she is more poised and confident as a result of her training at Michigan Academy of Dance & Music. We are very lucky to have this dance school in northern Virginia - I have no hesitation giving Adagio 5 stars! more

what a school. my daughter has been attending adagio dance school for 3 months now and i have to say i get as excited as she does when i am dropping her off. the classes are taught by some of the most professional dancers i have ever seen. the staff in the school are so kind and helpful, it is truely an experience just even walking through the doors. as if all this was not enough , my daughter absolutely adores the place and can seem to talk about little else. all and all it's a great place where you know that your daughter will be well looked after and where she will enjoy herself. thank you very much Michigan Academy of Dance & Music. more

Absolutely great! We couldn't be happier with our 5 year old daughter's experience at Michigan Academy of Dance & Music. We first started at the Ann Arbor location but recently moved to the new (and gorgeous!) Fairfax location for convenience. The teachers are wonderful and highly qualified; and the program is surprisingly structured! To me the program is definitely rigorous but also fun. I highly recommend this dance school...it puts the hugest grin on my daughter's face to even get ready for ballet class! -Emily D. more

The Best Ballet School Ever Both of my daughters are enrolled at Michigan Academy of Dance & Music. This ballet school is so professional. My girls have loved all of their teachers and cannot wait for class. The costumes they provide change regularly and are so beautiful. They have learned grace and discipline. Also, management is terrific. Everytime I have a question, it is so easy to ask via their website and I always receive a response immediately. Thank you for teaching my daughters. Michigan Academy of Dance & Music is top notch. The dancer and the wonderful staff at Michigan Academy of Dance & Music are extremely knowledgeable, talented and nurturing. We are always so impressed by how they provide a creative and fun environment for children and adults to pursue their love of dance. This is our daughter's fifth year at Michigan Academy of Dance & Music and she now dances four days a week. We are amazed at how much she has learned and love to see the joy on our daughter's face when she performs. Michigan Academy of Dance & Music is a wonderful place to learn dance. My daughter loves the weekly classes and the recitals. The lessons are appealing to the students. The staff is attentive and pleasant on every occasion. Michigan Academy of Dance & Music is highly recommenced. more

I only have my daughter half of weekends and they were flexible with my schedule; my daughter loves it; the instructors are wonderful; service is great; the facility is gorgeous and just opened a great new in-house black-box theatre. This is the place to go with young children (my daughter is 4.5 and is in her second session), and I expect older children as well though I don't have that personal experience. more

Wow! This dance studio really has it together. Non-intimidating, fantastic pole dance classes. I am a little-larger then some of the students, but felt right at home with these ladies. Absolutely the best workout I have ever had! We had so much fun and the group is always very diverse. The front desk staff is great, the instructors are incredible and I have been back numerous times so far. They have a beautiful new building with really tall poles. I have been to other "pole dance studios" in Ann Arbor, MI and realized that they all strive to be what Michigan Academy of Dance & Music is already. I plan on registering for their next 6-week pole dance series. I want to performs in their next show on stage! My next immediate challenge: Go-Go Stiletto. Beyonce-style dancing in high heels! Michigan Academy of Dance & Music offers these classes and it looks great. Michigan Academy of Dance & Music is my new home for fun and exercise. I highly recommend this studio, even if you currently take pole classes elsewhere. If you come here you may not return to any other studio more
