This was another dineLA experience. Everything about this place was awesome -- the outside dining area, the food (Snake River kurobuta pork...

There's really nothing terribly wrong with Michael's, but nothing stood out. Aging decor, plastic seats on the patio. I do not pretend to be a gourmet, but I do know when I'm dini...

Everything about this restaurant is nothing short of excellent. The service was friendly and helpful. I recommend the seared foie gras for appetizers. Be forewarned: it's a pricey night out, but you should never use that as an excuse to keep yourself from the best food. Pros: Extensive wine list, Great atmosphere Cons: Not cheap,, but the best never is more

Ok it's got flowers out back, but if you are seated anywhere else you are surrounded by stained, ripped carpet, chipped wallpaper and dreadful paintings. The food is overly rich, a white truffle orzo would have been delicious except for the half bottle of truffle oil added. It was like eating perfume. The lobster sandwich was tough and chewy. The ahi tuna appetizer was good though. I truly hate having my bottled water and wine removed from the table and then ignored when my glass is empty. Cons: , if more

Having read some of the negative reviews on this site, I was skeptical about my dining experience. Boy were these people wrong. We were seated right away (9pm reservation), service was all you could ask for (Mark), food was great, wine was a tough selection from a thorough list, and dessert was like sex on a plate. Pros: food, service, romance Cons: price more
