Michael's Arts & Crafts

Parking is hard to find, and the store is a little small and not too roomy. It's not always easy to find someone to help when you need it, but it's close to my house and it's a great place to buy reasonable priced craft products for myself and for my son. They have tons of neat kids crafts products. I also like to see what they have in the clearance aisle. I love that they have coupons. more

Michael's has the largest variety of arts and crafts supplies in San Diego from paint to scrapbooking to felt & yarn to picture frames. They have everything! Somethings can be expensive, but mostly they are reasonable. Make sure you get the 50% off coupons they put out every other sunday in the newspaper! more

This location is a little cluttered and the staff isn't as willing to help out as some of the other locations. But it's usually not very crowded. Parking isn't always easy to find, I guess the shopping plaza is pretty busy. If you aren't familar with the store - it's a craft store. They have everything you need from scrapbooking to cake decorating. Prices are really good. Around the holidays they have great specials on holiday decorations and afterwards have really good sales. It's also really good place for school projects - they have everything you need for that A+ science project. more

I love the wide selection and great sale prices. Employees are helpful and curtious. They offer a wide varitey of classes so that you can learn a new crafting skill. more

Michaels Arts & Crafts store is a arts and crafts lovers dream. Walking into the store, which is located very closely to an easily accessible parking lot, you will see many areas of arts and crafts supplies. To the right, the isles are filled with ribbons, bows, flowers, candles and many other supplies that are geared toward decorative crafts, weddings and the arrival of a new baby. To the left of the entrance to the store, there are isles full of craft supplies for hobbies such as scrap booking, cross-stitching, knitting, painting and building model cars. The prices a Michaels are low. When shopping at Michaels be prepared to wait in line and maneuver your way through people as the store is often crowded with not enough customer service representatives. If you can get past this, Michaels is the place to go for your arts and crafts needs. more
