I tried Dr. Synn on the referral of several people who claimed that he was the best infertility specialist in Fresno. What they forgot to tell me is that he is rude, has no bed-side-manner whatsoever and does not like to answer questions. He also does not take many insurance plans and does not accept payment options other than cash up front. He did not prescribe any testing for my husband before he went straight into the "you have to have invetro" speech. My husband and I tried everything that Dr. Synn suggested, including hormone therapy and shots, paying for everything out of our own pockets. Nothing worked. When I attempted to begin the process of finding out about invetro, I asked if I could speak to someone regarding some type of financing for the costly procedure. One of Dr. Synn's office people said to me, "If you can't pay for the procedure up front, then you probably can't afford to have a child right now anyway." That was my last visit. We later found out that the problem was with my husband, which if Dr. Synn had recommend testing for my husband in the first place, we wouldn't have wasted so much time and energy on the other procedures.
