My three children and I were looking for something fun to do on vacation. This attraction seemed good for a 2 year old, 8 year old and 10 year old. At first glance, the attrac...

Fun Fun Fun 10/21/2005

I love this park! I have a 2 year old daughter who would prefer this park to any other activity. She absolutly loves the dolphins and the sea lions! We have an annual pass which is the best bang for your buck since we end up coming back at least once a month. This is a toddlers paradise! Pros: Annual pass, entertaining , Special events more

Love This Place 10/20/2005

We are locals and my 3 year old son never gets tired of going to Seaquarium. He loves the animals, shows, the playground and feeding the fish in the coi pond. He knows the names of all the sealions, manatee, dolphins and of course his favorite Lolita the Killer Whale. We go every Halloween to Monster Splash for safe & fun trick or treating and every easter they have a great egg hunt event! Seaquarium is a great place for a playdate, we go often with friends, order a pizza (yummy) and have a great playdate picnic! For the adults there is a great swim with the dolphins program! My husband and I enjoyed it so much we used the photo from our experience as our holiday card! more

Glad I Went! 10/20/2005

I almost didn't go, based on some of the reviews I read. Decided to go because I had family in from Naples & they wanted to. I live here & haven't been to the Seaquarium in several years. They have built a playground since I was there last & the grandkids spent well over an hour there. One show was closed for remodeling, but the whale show was as good as I remember. The highlight of their trip was getting to swim with the dolphins. There wasn't any availabiltiy that Saturday, but we made reservations & went back today. It was the most wonderful experience I can imagine. There are banners up that say it's their 50th annoversary - I can't believe how good they look at 50! Had a great time .... Pros: up close whale show, nice landscaping, great swim program Cons: some construction more

A Great Time 10/18/2005

I've been going to Miami Seaquarium for over 30 years and think it is a true South Florida treasure. It offers an intimate atmosphere where you can truly appreciate the shows and exhibits. The Killer Whale show is incredible and the Flipper show is always a classic. Its fun for everyone and I recommend it to any family and friends coming to South Florida. Pros: Shows, Animals, Location more

Fun for the whole family 7/8/2005

I visited the Miami Seaquarium, because I wanted to take my family out for a fun day and thought that this place would be perfect and fun. They had whales, dolphins and other cute sea creatures there, you could even pet the dolphins. You could see sea animals in their environment and see how they behave in it. The service we received was good, and the price we paid was also a good price. PROS: fun filled adventure CONS: none more

See you at the Seaquarium! 6/29/2005

You'll have a whale of a good time at the Miami Seaquarium. The summer can be hot but if you go in the cooler months, kids of all ages will enjoy sharks, manatees, sea lions, and Lolita the Killer Whale. The Whale show is highly recommended and my kids always love it! But try and stay dry. For the younger set, there's a great Pirate themed playground but bring a change of clothes for the kids because there's water involved. PROS: Great fun for the entire family CONS: Expensive more

Whales, Dolphins, Sea you there! 6/23/2005

I've been to the Miami Seaquarium many times and each time have mixed emotions about my visits and what I see there..For the most part it is a fun and educational park for children of all ages..The bad part is, as an adult I can't help but cringe at the size of the tanks the whales and dolphins have to live in. The Living Reef is also distressing at times but it had recently undergone repairs and I was there during that time when it was closed to the public so I haven't seen it since it's reopened..I hope the improvements are obvious. Still, it is an opportunity for children to see ocean life they may not get a chance to see otherwise..Maybe a few will grow up to be environmentalists and make sure these wonderful creatures are kept out of harms way PROS: The shows are fun to watch especially for small children CONS: Small tanks and showcases for the whales more

Home of Flipper and Lolita! 5/11/2005

The Seaquarium has been a family favorite for thirty years now. The dolphin and killer whale shows are our favorites. (Don't sit near the front unless you want to get wet!) In addition to shows, there are beautiful aquariums filled with the most amazing fish and other sea animals. Endagered manatees can be seen up close, as can sharks, rays, and exotic animals. This is a must-see for any family with kids! more

Not what I expected 4/7/2003

After being to Seaworld, Seaquarium is quite inferior. However, for the price it charges, I guess you get what you pay for. I was not too impressed with the fact that there are three dolphin shows in one park. It seemed kind of an overkill. Otherwise, the shows are normal. Pros: Reef Tank, Shark Tank Cons: Exits to shows, Too many dolphin show more

Too expensive 9/13/2002

As simple that i don't like it... to expensive and it's no like sea world.... Cons: Expensive more

over rated 9/6/2002

Too expensive and they take too long to change the same boring shows. more

Awesome! 7/23/2002

It was a very nice experience. Unfortunately it only lasts half a day. The have wonderful, attractive shows and definitely Lolita (the whale) is a most see to belief! Pros: nice shows Cons: a little bit pricey, need more attractions more
