Great mexican grill 12/28/2010

This is a really great place to have a bite to eat and a couple of drinks! We thought the severs were very nice and served us fast. The Margarita's are very good and the food was delicious and alot of it. \r We got a salad (and other things) and a table of 6 shared it, it was wonderful. Will be eating there again when we are in town. more

One of my best experiences in Vegas 3/29/2010

I was staying in Vegas briefly for business and decided to check out Mi Casa on a whim from my searches of near by Mexican restaurants.\r \r I was not disappointed. I sat at the bar and was immediately greeted by the bartenders. I started it off right with a tapas verde margarita and their chips and salsa (the mild is probably one of the best I have ever had)\r \r For my entre I had the beef fajitas. Cooked to perfection, they came out of the kitchen sizzling! Delicious.\r \r Thank you Blake an Mary for a memorable experience, I will be sure to come back next time I am in town! Pros: Amazing staff. Amazing food. Amazing times. Cons: Nada. more

High expectations, average food 5/1/2007

This is very upscale in terms of menu and decor. We started off with a matched set of margaritas, the usual chips and salsa, and mini empanadas with roasted ancho chicken in white corn pouches accompanied by a spicy sauce. I ordered the shrimp Belize please (6 shrimp with caramelized onions, peppers, avocado and lime) while Ms Westie chose the margarita scallops (5 pan fried scallops finished in tequila, mango and mint salsa). Our dishes included the obligatory refried beans and rice. We concluded the meal with bread pudding and a Kahluha flan. I brought a piece of the bread pudding back to our starship for our scientists too analyze as a possible weapon of mass destruction. Everything with the exception of the bread pudding was pretty good though pricey Pros: Beautiful restaurant Cons: Watery margaritas and average food more
