Great food! Great service 6/16/2009

I've experienced 2 of their restaurants, originally in the 80's at a location I don't think is still open on Alma School & Southern in Mesa, the other was recently on Southern and Power in Mesa. The food is excellent, the atmosphere inviting the personnel friendly & the service was outstanding. My server was Jeremy & if I owned a restaurant I'd hire him without a doubt! He knows how to treat a customer well & his personality is simply charming! I highly recommend you try one of their locations! Pros: Service, quality of food, atmosphere Cons: too far from my house :-( more

I've been going to Mi Amigo's for years and have never seen a better Mexican food place, absolutely love it! The service is excellent, always seated right away. The salsa is different and great every time. A definite must go. Pros: Best Tamales more

Try the food at Mi Amigo's - it is a winner 6/11/2009

My wife and I love this restaurant. We have eaten there close to 50 times and have never been disappointed. The staff are friendly and fun. The food is varied and excellent. My favorite are the sizzling fajitas - it is brought to your table with enough sizzle and steam to make quite an impression. I recommend this establishment and think you will enjoy it too. Excellent enchiladas and salsa 6/8/2009

Their food is actually tasty and not bland like other Mexican restaurants. It is an excellent place to bring big groups or parties because they still prepare and serve the food super fast. Pros: Not greasy with just the right amount of cheese more

I have been eating at Mi Amigo's for over 20 years. I have never had a disappointing meal! I love their food and their service. I hope to continue eating at Mi Amigos for another 20 years! Pros: Great Service, Price and value Cons: None that I can think of! more

mexican food with a flare 6/3/2009

I wasa heading to the Harknis Theaters and my girlfriend remembered Mi Amigos and commented that we could be in and out quick. She was right, we were immediateld seated, and the food was delivered promptly. We both had Chile Burros which were awesome-lots of food for a reasonable price. Got to love it! Best Mexican Restaurant Around! 4/30/2009

We go to Mi Amigo's for every family event we have. We can reserve the banquet room and can always count on great service and fantastic food. We always start off with their 25 cent bean dip and a cheese crisp with green chile strips and then I share the fajitas with my sister so I can save room for the flan. It is always good, always fast and always fresh. Can't beat the price and atmosphere. Pros: food, service, price, quality more

Worst Mexican Restaurant Ever 3/4/2009

The food tastes as though from a can, served stale and cold. The margaritas left much to be desired, watered down cheap tequila. By far the worst margarita I have ever had. Do not go here, better off at Taco Bell!! Service wasn't too bad if you can stomach the food! Pros: Semi-decent service Cons: Horrible food and drink more

Mi amigos has changed for the worst 11/29/2005

I cant believe you have to pay over 9.00 for taquitos that taste dry and disgusting. We went there an hour before they closed and they were very mad at us. The manager would just come and stare us down. We waited over an hour for food. We had adults and two young kids. The kids were sharing with me. They told us they closed the kitchen so they had to start everything back up. our rice ans beans sat up there for about 20 minutes. the bill was sixty dollars and we left her ten, I would have left less because if the way we were treated and the wait on the food. She went and complained to her manager and she didnt realise I was right behind her. They are over priced and tacky.
