When we acquired a new rental in Tucson we had to turn to a property manager. There was no way we could deal with the place ourselves. They have been very helpful and have dealt with things far better than I think I would have myself. Necessary repairs have been made and tenants have been found. What more could we ask! more

Easy Renting 5/9/2012

Renting from Merritt was one of the best renting experiences I have had. Of course we had a couple of issues, but they never ignored them, or denied responsibility to fixing them which I loved. These people are really great managers. more

Since they have taken over our association management, people around here have taken notice. There are maintenance and landscape improvements on a small scale that have all contributed to a great change. Members of the board I have spoken to have also expressed their approval. We are all pleased with their efforts. more

Great! 2/10/2012

I woke up this morning and the pool and spa area where sparkling. The timer on the spa seems OK, the flow of water into the pool is very strong, the water temp is good as the temperature does change. Whenever you did helped out a lot, thanks. The age and size of the pool heater will be a concern down the road, but for now it's just great! more

I rented from Merritt and the people were much nicer than I could have ever imagined them to be. When I gave my notice, they were very kind and acted as if they were sad to see me go. When I lived in the unit they always fixed what needed to be within a good amount of time. I now tell my friends that are looking for a place to live to go to Merritt first. more

This is a great company to rent from. Ive had a small 2br with them for almost a year. Everything has been good the whole time. Nice people and they do not hassle me for anything. Im glad the place I found was managed by them. more

If you are an unfortunate tenant to Merritt Realty, move out or plan on moving out soon. And hire a lawyer. And take pictures. He will find any means possible to suck you dry of your hard-earned money. I saw a five star review on Google of their services, obviously written by a Merritt Realty staffmember or Tom Merritt himself. more

Terrible 10/6/2010

I was on the other end - a renter. When I moved out, Tom kept $400 of my deposit for cleaning and repairs. I have been a renter for years, have used property management companies in the past for my own homes in Phoenix and Texas and I've never had this experience. I will tell everyone I know NOT to rent any properties from this guy. more
