Awesome Service/Pricing! 2/9/2011

I've used Meridan A/W years ago when upgrading the engine of my Honda Civic. Years later, I've noticed the nice upgrades to the facility and procedures. They took care of me and gave me a very reasonable price on the part(s) I needed. I definitely plan on using and/or considering them for my auto parts needs. JC was the bomb for me! more

Dump! Dont go there! 2/8/2011

DO NOT SUPPORT THIS BUSINESS!! Do you agree with people being taken advantage of? Abused? To the point of being illegal? Here is what I have seen since I've worked there. First off, JC, the manager is a complete monster ass. His only way to communicate with you is by yelling. In the time I've been there, I have seen him scream and yell at just about every person there. He has driven multiple girls to tears over stupid crap. He has either put people on salaries and worked them 60 to 80 hours a week, driving them to way below minimum wage, or put them on a commission rate that takes them down way past minimum wage. The sales staff is not even allowed to take lunch. One salesman quit after making less than $3.00 per hour. Many of the employees are reporting them to L & I for the abuses. Please do your part and DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS MONSTER!! more

The Real Deal 2/1/2011

This is indeed a disgruntled ex employee of Meridian Auto Wrecking. Coincidently this is the same JC that was voted boss of the year by his employees in a recent edition of a national trade publication. B&R is one of the largest auto recyclers in the state. If any of this was true the corporation would put a quick stop to any and all of it. Rest assured when you do business with Meridian / B&R, youre supporting one of the best work environments in all of the auto recycling industry. We all appreciate your patronage and look to fulfilling all of your used auto parts needs. more

Great Parts Great People 10/24/2010

I purchased an engine for my car and they did a great job. The parts were delivered on time and in good condition. Now my car runs like new again! I can't say enough good about this company. more

wow these guys are good 6/20/2010

I need a used transmission for my car and these guys are great. I need a trans for my 98 altima and they where the only people around to have it. They also were able to get me a 1 year warranty on a used transmission. Know one else would even offer a 30 day warranty. after getting the trans i had a family member install the trans and there appeared to be a issue with it shifting. I called my salesperson rob back and asked him what to do? He then refered me to his boss JC. Jc asked me some questions and the asked if he could get the car picked up and check out by another shop. 2 days later he called me and told me my car was ready to go. It appears that my brother had installed the trans incorectly and there was a wire the was not connected correctly. They towed the car and fixed the problem at no charge !! wow that was great. I asked them what i could do to help and he said nothing, just tell your friends that if they need a part to call meridian autowrecking. Thank you more

top notch wrecking yard 12/27/2008

big yard, excellent selection, nice showroom. they look after my best interests with the safety vest, i love it. they have computerized inventory, saving me time. they also have pictures of cars on there computers to help. these guys really know what they are doing. more

Be very careful with this business 7/14/2008

I'm glad the last reviewer had a better experience than I did. As I've now read, the sales staff is very lacking. I came in Friday (7/11/08) and was helped by the only female sales person there. She did a great job, but there were a couple of sales people who were at best very, very unprofessional. The one guy who seems to be getting a lot of notoriety for his lack of professionalism was I guess in his usual form. He was both belligerent and arrogant. I saw him going through people like nothing but numbers, being very rude to those who took more of his time than what he felt they should or ones that balked at his prices, which were often for the little time I was there. Even his coworkers seemed to be annoyed with him. Its not my style to point out the negative in people, but I 'd recommend reading through one of the other reviews and avoiding that sales person. He definitely lives up to his horrible reputation. Pros: Huge Yard, Great Selection Cons: Some staff is very rude and unprofessional more

Helpful Employee!!!! 7/13/2008

I went there around 230 and was helped by one of the delivery drivers. It was apparent they were swamped in front and had many people waiting. She looked to be about to leave, but noticed I had been standing there and asked if i needed help. I was happy she took the time to get my part I was waiting for. Sadly, i did not get her name. If I had, I would thank her today. She provided excellent customer service and shows she is a team player in her job. She is a pretty blonde girl who I shouldve thanked, hopefully she sees this and knows I am grateful for her assistance. Thank you so much!!! (lady with the window!) Pros: many available parts more

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER AT A JUNK YARD 7/10/2008

Yes, they have a HUGE yard, but the way customers are treated is unbelievable. Don't show up near closing time or you will be berated and insult you to your face! From some of the sales staff to the cashier, they let you know that you need them and they don't need you. If you do have to shop there, call several times for a quote as you will get up to a 50% difference in price between quotes. Also, DO NOT go to one of the sales guys, RAY as he will gouge you for every last cent and then treat you like dirt. NEVER pull any parts without getting a quote as they will charge you insane prices if you do, especially RAY. One last thing, DO NOT bring your children in there. The language and adult topics discussed there are worse than I?ve ever seen at any wrecking yard. They don't care if there are children or women present or not. No topic is off limits for these scumbags! Pros: Huge yard Cons: They know it and charge you for it. more
