Mercer Street Books & Records 3/28/2006

Mercer Street Books & Records carries mostly out of stock and the hard to find books. No recent fiction books or anything by Deeprak Chopra. Most of the books they carry is the kind of stuff you would find in a college bookstore. Textbooks about photography and art history, language arts and stuff like that. Don't bother with the cd selection. It's rather skimpy in the selection department. more

West Village Rare Book Shop 7/27/2005

Mercer Street Books & Records has a fine selection of out of print books. Everything from the classics to modern writing. They also have a better than average selection of music available. The store has that old book store feel to it and although some of the rarer books seem to be a bit more expensive than they should be this is still a good store. more
