Meineke Car Care Center

My transmission was going out, i.e., 2012 Ford Focus. I despise car dealerships, i.e., Ford (or any brand), so I decided to let the Farmington, MO Meineke dealer get involved. They've treated me right before on other vehicles I've owned and they treated me right again. Sam is in charge there and is the best automotive professional I have ever worked with. Honest as can be and very up front about everythng. His next in line, Tom, was also very helpful, professional and courteous. I had an insurance policy to help cover the cost of the transmission itself and Ford had an available recall insurance allowance that covered the transmission control module. Sam worked with a friend of his at the Fredericktown Ford dealership and got everything done in a professional and timely manner. I cannot say enough good things about this Meineke location and the guys that run it. The first time I went in there, several years ago, I sat in the waiting room with other customers and heard nothing but glowing reviews about the service and repair work there. That is something. I have never witnessed customers talking much at all in a repair shop. They're usually in a worried state about cost, etc. Not this Meineke... Excellent customer service, excellent repair work... I will definitely be back and I will definitely refer friends and family there. more

The staff that worked on my car came and talked directly to me. Sam was very thorough about the services they perform and gave recommendations for future car maintenance. Very satisfied customer! more

Sam Greco is the staff member I worked with. I'm a single mom w limited income. Sam will always work w me by making a plan on what needs fixed first on what I can afford. All of the staff there are very nice and knowledgeable. I can drop my truck off and they will take me to work and pick me up when it's done. It's nice to walk into a shop and they remember your name. I will always use Meineke Car Care more

The managers are great. Only issue I have is labor prices seem high, but I guess are in line with other shops. more

Went in to have husbands truck fixed sensor in steering column, Meineke guys are great! They got us in promptly, took care of our questions and problem and got us on our way! Great job guys!!!! more

Mr. Greco in Farmington made sure I received the exact quality of tires I needed for the roads I drive mostly. More importantly your service staff balanced my tires and aligned my 4 wheels better than they've been aligned since the car was new in 2002. Immediately after picking my car up I headed out on a 2500 mile trip across country. My car average 31.6 miles per gallon instead of its historic (and recent) 26.9 record solely because of the balance and alignment. So Mr. Greco and his staff gave me more than my moneys-worth and my old car received some new life and value..........that is a pretty special deal and I've already been sharing this story with friends. more

they all was very helpful and it was wrong what they thought it was and had it towed in checked it out and found out it. was the head gasket .and towed it back.to me no.charge awesome job Farmington mo store less more

We were 1.5 hours away from home and one of the brake calipers locked up. Very respectful and very quick. Showed me exactly what was wrong and told me what needed to be done and what looked good as well. They let me make the decision myself. more

Great Service. These guys stayed late on a Friday evening to help me get back on the road safely. I was towed from the highway at about 4:00 pm and back on the road by 07:00 pm. They took me to the shop and showed me everything that was needed. Very transparent, I would recommend them if you are looking for an honest repair facility that will prioritize you needed repairs. more

We were towed to the shop in Farmington for a no start problem. It was late in the afternoon and we did not expect to have the vehicle looked at let alone repaired the same evening. These guys got us back on the road that same day staying after hours to get me and my family to our destination. I can't say enough positive things for this shop. I thank you for being there for us. more

I just wanted to thank everyone at Meineke for the excellent service that was performed on my car. It was the day before Christmas Eve, I was fairly new to the area and after going over my problems with Tom, he know exactly what to do. The guys stayed late to get me back on my way. These guys went above and beyond. They deserve as many stars as allowed. more

This place is AWFUL!!!!! They do not stand by their work at all! Even for three hours! They don't care to make it right for their customers and just want to charge you more for services they should've done right the first time! Save the trouble and go somewhere else. You'll have to anyway... more

Whatever you do, do not, I repeat, do not take your car to Meineke for repair. I took mine in for the air conditioner not blowing cold air, they replaced my windshield wipers, and said there was nothing wrong with my air conditioner. I fought with them, and they continued to tell me nothing wrong. I had the windshield wipers replaced 8 months earlier when I got my oil changed and got the receipt and showed them and made them put the others back on and take there 23 dollar ones off. I took the car to D and G automotive downtown Farmington and they repaired my air conditioner, works like it is brand new. If you love wasting money, go to Meineke, but if you want it fixed right, take it to D and G automotive downtown Farmington Missouri. more
