Took my 2005 Colorado here for brakes instead of my usual place the other side of town. They took on the job, but later explained as I was picking up the truck that they only did...

Took my 2005 Colorado here for brakes instead of my usual place the other side of town. They took on the job, but later explained as I was picking up the truck that they only did the front brakes, and not the back brakes (which needed work), and they recommended I take the rear brake job to the dealer because of the difficulty. I don't know why they think drum brakes are difficult, as a neighbor did them for free (plus parts) in my driveway for fun and a few free beers, and got it done in an hour. I heard the owner got the place from his rich parents, seems the 2nd generation has no work ethic. I highly recommend Forsyth fast lube on hwy 20, never had trouble or excuses from them. Plus they offer synthetic oil, which this place strangely does not. Stay away. more

Good Shop for Common Repairs 8/18/2009

The shop did a satifactory job of replacing shock absorbers and belts in one day. However, the shop misdiagnosed the reason why the air conditioner was not working. After taking the vehicle back to Meineke three times, I took it to the Chevy dealership. The solution, which Meineke missed, was to replace the AC liquid tube. Pros: Peforms quality work on routine auto maintenance in a timely Cons: Difficulty diagnosing more advanced air conditioner problems more

Honest, Reliable, Masterful Auto Repair 10/6/2007

Simply THE BEST, MOST HONEST, RELIABLE, & extremely well managed AUTO REPAIR SHOP in NE GA! \r In recently moving down to GA, I was very worried to not have a reliable repair service availabe, and didn't want to get 'taken'. We'd used Meineke in NY for over 20 years, & know it?s ?not just mufflers?, but every auto repair, thus I sought another Meineke in our new area. \r However, I'm so even much more pleased with this one, thus I tell everyone I care about to try Meineke (on Freedom PArkway, SE off Exit 17 of GA 400, adjacent to Kroeger). \r Trey, the owner, is very talented, he?s just a totally amazing master mechanic. When he 'estimates' a repair, the bill is to the penny when picked up, & he?s so reliable, it?s always ready as promised, dependably on time! With everything else that I have to worry about, there is no need to do so with Trey on the job for our vehicle maintenance & repairs. What a huge relief!\r I trust Trey so much that I send my 'team of house helpers more
