Timely service to their patients is lacking. My wife went for a simple eye exam which took 2 3/4 hours. Actual time with the physician was approximately 15 minutes, the initial workup took approximately 15 minutes, approximatelyy 30 minutes was spent waiting for the eyes to dilate, all reasonable times. The balance of 1 3/4 hours was spent sitting waiting to see the Dr.\r
I had an appointment today with a different Dr. and was expecting better treatment. Not So. I was called in a timely manner and then sent to the waiting room for my eyes to dilate. Thirty minutes later I was placed in an examining room to wait for the Dr. After waiting 45 minutes I left. As I walked down the hallway I passed the Dr. talking to several of the assistants. I don't know when he would have seen me had I waited. When I was speaking to the receptionist to settle up my bill two different persons overheard me and one of them came up to me as I was leaving and said she had a similar experinece and thought she would just leave also. \r
Of course I would never recommend the services of Mecklenburg Eye Associaates to anyone.\r
