Other reviews I read about this clinic are true. You'll see Dr Mech once for 5 minutes and never again. He turns you over to his assistants and they don't know what the heck they're doing. Also, they are not helpful and it's hard to talk to anyone there. I went to this clinic for 6 months and left in frustration. They even dipped into areas of my health that was not their specialization, and after many months on Thyroid medicine, I found I didn't even need it and it had given me new problems and side effects. Today, I can't even get their phone number to ring. I have questions for the staff. What.......did they go out of business or did they get a new phone number? Just another example of how poor this clinic is for customer service. Just find another doctor and don't waste time with this one. Cons: you are not a human being, just money to them more

Dr. Mech himself is an excellent clinician. He has been on the nose with several diagnosis but I would have to say that he is either clueless about his staff or they have totally sheltered him from knowing what his staff are doing. Or even worse, he does know and doesn't care. It is very rare that a live person ever answers any of their lines regardless of who or why you are calling. I had a recent appointment to discuss test results and waited 2 hours to then be told he had left and there wasn't an assistant who could. The scary results are that you do get placed on meds without refills and it becomes extremely difficult to do so. Our local pharmacist has told me that I should get another doctor because of so much time waster with them calling, me calling, my husband calling and they go round and round. But again, I will say that his recognizing some symptoms and ordering the appropriate meds for physical issues, saved my life. Its his staff's actions that could harm someone. more

They are now in Frisco under the name ""The Mech Center"". I don't even know where to begin. When you walk in you there will be no doubt in your mind this place is massively funded my pharmaceutial companies because it is extravagant! The left hallway and the right hallway each have approx. 10 little cattle call rooms numbered on the doors to which you will be directed to one of them. Each ""room"" is the size of a cubicle and is dark, with one loveseat, a chair and a decorative console. Your first visit Dr. Mech will come up with a ""plan"" for you after visiting for 5 minutes. You will never see him again and his PA's or whoever they are will then take over your treatment, repeatedly putting you on new meds almost each visit, increasing your dosages to get you to come back every single week, and adding new, random medications to your ""sample bag"". I have experienced hyperventilation and serotonin syndrome and I am scared to go back & never will! They do not respond to emergencies, and you will be lucky to get a call back if you have one within a week! My wait time there has never been less than 1 hour and the time before last I was there waiting for 3 whole hours to be seen for 10 whole minutes because I insisted on telling them how incompetent they are. What a crock! A pill factory with incompetent staff! I have had to self-treat myself (by getting off all the medication they prescribed me) because no one there cared to help whatsoever! Don't waste your time one second on this place unless you like being herded like cattle and treated like an experimental guinea pig that will leave you to fend for yourself.
