Hi,\r My wife was buried at the Meadowridge Cemetery (Elkridge MD) on 9/10/2016. I paid fully for a memorial plaque and vase in October of the same year. The plaque was not installed until July of 2017, and it is missing the vase. I cannot get their attention to install the vase that they owe us. They talk a good talk when selling the services, but are hard to deal with once they collect their fees. more

Purchasing a plot or any service should be met with Passion and Dignity. This should be the case before a passing or after. The staff at Meadowridge does not provide either. Their only goal is ""UPSELLING"". This does not end when you exit their doors, but continues by receiving calls to purchase additional plots or services. I urge all to look further into other places. This business has been a nightmare for me. I wouldn't feel comfortable having my pets buried there. more

Meadowridge does not have QC or return phone calls 6/15/2010

Mother passed in 2000. Father had to remind cemetery numerous times to get the date put up on crypt (not an inexpensive option) Father passed summer 2008, same thing. Called numerous times. Finally, today, Stanley from Meadowridge called to let me know that almost two years late they mounted the date of death. Management does not care! I asked for an explanation... nothing. Asked for an apology... nothing. NEVER, EVER deal with them. Sure they will take your money, sure they will do a good job on your day of grief, but heaven help you if you have any issues later. They do not care!!! Cons: NO follow-up or customer care more

Good Staff for Difficult Times 10/31/2007

My son, grandparents and sister are residents of Meadowridge. It is a beautiful place. I too will be there one day. The staff has always been wonderful. For this place to be perfect they would need to fix the lawn. That is the one thorn in my side about the place, however, I would not hesitate to recommend Meadowridge to anyone. It is so pretty there, on days some of us bring a lawn chair and a book and spend time with our loved ones. After my son's death, they took complete control of returning my son's remains from out of state; I was not bothered with any of the details. They took care of everything from arranging his return, church services, funeral services, our transportation and the burial. Although very expensive, everything was first class. That was my choice as they do offer services at different price levels, all offering a high level of dignity. They even provided a fancy box with a latch which contained all forms of correspondence, helpful information, and a lot more. It was extremely useful. Apparently, they also contacted Social Security as my son is listed in their Death Index, and they placed notices in all local and city papers in our area. This is getting difficult now, so it's time for me to go. Check them out for yourself. They helped me during a horrible time in my life and I won't forget all they did for me and my son. ""Dignified"" best describes their offerings. One last thing. They run a tight ship, but they bend the rules when grief becomes overwhelming by allowing family to adorn the plot as they wish, within reason. Have a long, long life. They will wait for you. more
