We called for service on our furnace when we noticed that the fan motor was making much more noise than usual. There were two other reputable companies in Batavia that took a look at it first, and were nice, but the only thing they suggested was a replacement as the furnace was older than me at this point. They left us with a bit of sticker shock (I’ve never purchased a furnace before) and walked us through their financing. I get it, I know it needs to get replaced, but are there other options to at least get us through one season?
I called McNally’s after a recommendation from our friends; he was quick to respond and could be reached conveniently by text, email, or phone (which is great BTW, I can’t always take a phone call at work). We setup a date and time, and Brian himself arrived promptly and diagnosed the problem. He first offered to fix the problem, but admitted the finding parts to replace it would be tricky due to the age. He suggested a replacement as well, but wasn’t pushy about it. He quoted us out a whole new system.
Brian’s pricing was so competitive, that we decided to actually replace the system. It took us a few weeks to get the funds, but Brian setup a date and his crew arrived as planned. They were prompt, courteous, and willing took the time to explain any part of the installation I had questions about. They completed the installation in one day and left the place cleaner than when they arrived. I would highly recommend McNally’s to anyone considering service or a replacement on their furnace.
