McGee Toyota of Hanover

I bought my new Toyota Prius from McGee a few months back. From the car salesman, to the financial assistant, everyone there was kind, curtious, and humerous. I have nothing but good things to say about these guys. And being a disabled Army veteran from Iraq, I rate business' on there accessability as well. So wether you're walking in on your own two feet, or rolling in a wheelchair, I believe you'll have an excellent time here. And ask for Tony P, he was the guy who helped me out. =) more

I have been car shopping for a few weeks for a pre-owned car. McGee advertised what I was looking for \r on-line and I called yesterday to make an appointment to see the car as I work north of Boston and dont have lots time to spare. I arrived to be told (after the salesman wandered around for 15 minutes looking) that the car was off site for inspection and would be back in 45 minutes. Allready off on the wrong foot, I went to run some errands and returned an hour later. At that time I was told the driver was slow and would be another 15 minutes. I waited another 25minutes, gave them the information on my trade and asked for the CarFax on the vehicle I was looking at. I was given something called AutoCheck on the car and it was 1 1/2 years out of date. After an hour and a half since my arrival I left after never seeing the car. \r I received an email today regarding an offer for my trade (which was less than 1/2 of market value) and that the price of the car was excluding the profit and other costs, this was an additional $3,000. I never even saw the car. So, the car that was advertised for $35,000 was going to cost me well over $40,000.\r Needless to say I am buying elsewhere. Cons: Worst shady experience ever!! more

I bought my first car here, and the sales staff were very helpful and knowledgeable. I was nervous about making such a big purchase and had brought an older (male) relative to guard against being taken advantage of, but I didn't need him. The salesman worked with me directly and negotiated the cost without my uncle getting involved. At the end he joked with my uncle about what a tough customer I was. This was not meant meanly but rather respectfully, which I appreciated since I wasn't sure how I would be treated as a young woman. This is a great family dealership and I will definitely go back when I plan to replace this car. more
