We are a local company that provide food service and equipment to restaurants, bars, and organizations for wholesale. We also provide heating ventilation, air conditioning and: all brands of walk in coolers, reach in coolers, ice machines, exhaust, sheet metal fabrication, beer equipment, coffee equipment and duct cleaning.
McCormick's is a name that is well known across East-Central IL. Our company was established by a small man with a big heart, dedication, and respect for his fellow man. Lowell Maurice McCormick... affectionately called "Thunder".
Lowell started as a distributor for 7-up as a young man and worked his route for more than 10 years. He then joined RC Cola as their Sales Manager. Eventually he went on to form his own company in 1970 when he also approached Canfield's about being a distributor for them in East-Central Illinois. The company later evolved into the "Central Service Center" and a distributor of Coca-Cola products.
A few short years later, he would meet Thomas Ramsburg. Mr. Ramsburg (Tom) soon joined the company and became Executive Vice President. Tom played an important part in developing the structure and business model our company has today.
Mr. McCormick also has three sons that have proudly followed in their father's footsteps and joined the company. Lowell, Tom, and the boys then moved the company away from Coca-Cola and formed two separate companies. One for food sales and the other for equipment and service.
Randy McCormick and Tom Ramsburg head the commercial wholesale food division, which offers a broad line of fresh produce, dairy, frozen and dry food, disposables, small wares, and chemicals to satisfy any need our customers may have.
