Sub-par quality, in a nutshell. I have shopped here a dozen times now and thrice, I had bad experiences. Once, I got a bottle of Udupi brand pickles that I realized had expired a month before I purchased. When I tried to return it, they refused to take it back as I did not have a receipt. I don't blame them as it was my fault that I didn't have the receipt. But I expect them to check their inventory periodically and dispose off expired stuff!
On two other occasions, I bought coconuts that were spoilt from the inside, which of course I realized after breaking them open.
Overall, bad experience so far. I still go there as there aren't any other Indian stores in Issaquah. The original Mayuri Foods in Bellevue/Redmond is much better.
My recommendation is that you should check the expiry dates before buying and keep receipts for your purchases.
