Mayor Mike's

We just had dinner at Mayor Mike's and I was very impressed with the quality of the food and the service. This is an attractive restaurant with dark wood booths and tables and a hopping bar. I had the mussel appetizer and a wedge as my entrée and not only was it more than enough it was very good. The broth on the mussels was so good I asked for some bread to soak it up. The wedge is huge and served with toasted pine nuts in addition to the usual diced tomatoes and blue cheese. For dessert the deep fried cheesecake was amazing. The cheese cake was so fluffy inside the crispy crust. Our waitress never let us feel neglected and offered refills on all our drinks. Especially if you are going to the Civic Center this would be a great choice for before or after or as we did in between. The star shuttle and the restaurant shuttle both stop right across the street. more

Mayor Mike's is a sophisticated restaurant with a delicious menu ranging from nachos and hot wings to the many incredible entrees they serve, such as the Chicken Pierantonio or Penne Vodka (and no, that isn't a drink). But if you'd like a drink Mayor Mike's also has a full bar. Moderate pricing. more
