Through my experience as a therapist in the mental health and substance abuse field, I have come to believe that change occurs through gaining insight into our own thinking processes. When we begin to learn more about our thinking processes, which generally arise from past experiences, we begin to change the way we feel. The therapeutic journey begins by identifying reoccurring themes or what I term "addictions." The process continues by coaching clients to master their triggers and develop counter actions. It is through this process that clients are empowered to handle their life problems with more ease
