There was no better aroma(?) when you walked in the door. We went every Saturday when I was in grade school to get sausages, lunch meats, etc. It made you want mustard, brown mustard, rye breads, pickles, peppers, and of course horseradish. As an adult, I continued the tradition until they closed their store. Easter Sunday doesn't taste or smell the same, neither does any party without the fresh sausage. Sure wish they would open again. So far all I've seen is their smoked sausage in the grocery stores.
