Markheim...One-Stop Shopping! 12/1/2007

Markheim is a great pet store. I have been to all of the pet stores in the surrounding area. They have a points card, used for discounts on purchases. When buying crickets, the price goes down if you buy in bulk. The reptile section is amazing! The animals are clean and well-card for. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I love going there! more

Markheim Tropical Fish 10/26/2006

This is loaded with so many varieties of fish. If you are looking for some knew fish for your tank this is the place for you. The staff is very knowledgeable if you have concerns about dealing with issues with your tank or your fish. They have recommended medications for my fish when I had a situation where a number of these fish were ill. They really saved the day. more

Markheim Tropical Fish & Pet is located on Sheridan Drive. This is a very nice store. The store is well kept and is always clean. This place really has a wide range of types of fish and cutting edge items for fish tanks. This is a great place for the novice and expert fish lover. more

My sister’s husband loves his collection of aquariums and fish. He is always looking at upgrading these items. For the holidays I was looking at purchasing him something for his hobby. My sister recommended this store to me. I was easily able to find something for a holiday gift. My brother-in-law loved his gift. more

One stop shop for fish 3/25/2006

The selection of fish at this store is one of the best around. The staff is very knowledgeable in the area and willing to help you out. It doesn’t matter if you are just beginning or have had fish all your life. Unfortunately the prices are a little high in some areas. Overall a pretty good store. more

For your aquarium needs 8/20/2005

I am used to having pets in the house and I had a couple of dogs when I lived with my parents. But since they don't allow pets where I live, I decided to buy an aquarium. I went to this place to buy some fishes for it. The moment they understood that I was new into this, they helped me a lot. They inquired about the size of my aquarium, my budget, how much time I am gonna spend in this, and then told me my options. They had a huge variety of fishes there for varying budgets. They also gave me tips on maintaining my tank. I was thoroughly satisified by my visit over there, and my subsequent visits after that. more

Best place for tropical fish! 8/18/2005

I get all my tropical fish and aquarium needs at Markheim. They have the best selection and prices I have found and I'm very happy with everything I've purchased there! Their staff is also very knowledgeable and helpful when determining what to put in a tank or how to set up a new tank! You should definitely try Markheim Tropical Fish next time you need anything aquarium related! I highly recommend them! more

A nice little pet shop helpful to starters 8/17/2005

I just recently decided to restock an unused acquarium I had. While I was not getting many fish to start, and they would be relatively inexpensive fish the staff person that assisted me helped me right away and explained the pertinent information I would need to know to ensure that the fish are properly kept. Also, he did not try to recommend anything that was expensive, but just offered the alternatives and explained which of the would fullfill my needs at that point. more
