We had read the reviews in advance and were prepared for it to be either way. The waitress did inform us in advance that you had to purchase a soda, etc. in order to receive the ""half off"" sushi. Spent $2.50 for an iced tea and asked what was on the half price menu. First off she (Asian woman the only one present I saw) said the entire left row. Then started with the ""except"". No sushi, just rolls are half off, of which about 6 (blackened tuna, spider roll to mention a few), were not. Bottom line, half price on some rolls, primarily just the cheap ones with little substance. Do not go for the half-off deal, as it isn't one.
