I had my first ever brazillian wax with erica in rockridge , ! She was professional , funny , hardly any pain at all!!! LOVE her , LOVE spotless for ingrown hair prevention..

I received a gift certificate for a pedicure 6 months ago, and finally was able to use it. However, the pedicure menu has completely changed- they longer offer the various luxurio...

Marilyn does an amazing job with brows and brazilians! Plus she's super nice and makes the whole uncomfortable waxing thing go by quickly and as painless as possible. I only wish I could afford to hit up her spa more often! I've had brazilians done by other estheticians because it can be hard to get an appt with Marilyn and haven't been as satisfied but the staff is also really polite and I love the atmosphere there! Pros: Marilyn!! Cons: Too expensive for me!, Parking is tough more

Truly wonderful 7/6/2005

Without Marilyn Jaeger and her amazing staff, I'd be a mess. Everyone is ridiculously nice and attentive. I've traveled 45min each way from Berkeley for two years to see them. I mean you don't want just anyone sticking hot wax down there, do you? I feel like a pampered princess every time. Extremely luxurious and elegant. If you're going to wax, or get a pedicure, go to the best. Pros: Peaceful, Luxurious, Relaxing more

One trip to Marilyn Jaeger and you'll know why everyone raves about this spa! I'm a huge fan of Amanda for brows and brazillians but you can go to any one of the girls for excellent results. And yes, the brazillians are fast and virtually pain free! They offer late evening appointments and are very good about keeping an on-time schedule. The space is comfortable, stylish, and very very clean. There's no attitude here - everyone is nice, helpful, and fabulous! more

Everything from the atmosphere to the knowledge and skill of Madeline combined to make this one of the best massages I have had. Most massages feel good while they are happenning, but days later I still fell relaxed in places I usually store up tension right away. I plan to go back for a series to work with her over time. On another topic, Elizabeth shapes and tints my eyebrows so they are as pretty as can be without my having to do all that penciling in and stuff. I really like to visit here. If you are looking for the quickest and least painful (there will still be some pain:)) brazilian wax, Marilyn Jaeger Skincare is the place to go. I have been getting waxed by Marilyn for over 3 years now. Even though I could find a place closer to home, I drive over an hour to get to Marilyn's spa every month. I have tried other salons for Brazilians and after 3 awful, painful, time consuming waxes, I pledged to never go anywhere else. The atmosphere of the salon is friendly and relaxing and the staff goes all out to make their clients feel welcome and cared for. I would definitley reccommend the Marilyn Jaeger Skincare Salon to anyone looking to be pampered... Pros: Professional, Clean, Quick more

Impressive. The atmosphere is like no other as I frequent many spas during my travels coast to coast. The staff immediatly started with the royal treatment by offering me a glass of yummy Sangria, giving me a tour, & making me comfortable. Then my services began. The staff were very professional, gentle, and exuded calmness that put me at ease. The facial was excellent and taken to level I had never experienced. I felt relieved of my stresses and relaxed beyond belief. I did not have to coach them at all as they went above and beyond anything I have ever received at even top notch hotel high dollar spas. I just laid back an felt like a Queen. I will make sure and visit Marilyn Jaegar's salon-palace everytime I travel to SF. As a matter of fact I might just fly to SF to relive that day. Pros: High Value, Attentive, Late Nights more

  • Don’t be fooled by the softly curved walnut paneling, echo-friendly walls insulated with recycled denim or the lightly tinkling water features; at Marilyn Jaeger Skincare Studio skin is serious business. Like the airport security line (if airport security was designed by a feng-shui expert), this isn’t a good place to make jokes. This is not a spa, and you won’t find steamy dressing rooms with complimentary hair combs and waterfall shower heads.
