Manzanita Medical Ctr

this was the worst dr office I have ever been too, even worse than the free clinics. They were always rude to me. I always saw PAs and not the doctor. They diaognosed me with a kidney stone and then when I went to the ER some time later for abdominal pain they said I didnt have one. They did losts of tests but there was always nothing wrong except anemia. They would always put me on different meds, and when I would call about the side effects they would tell me I needed to come in for appointment. They waiting room was always so full of people. I had to wait a long timeto be seen. The front desk was always so rude. When I had to be admited to a special hospital, it took them two weeks to fax over some of my medical recors even though we kept calling themover and over again. The hospital filed a complaint. They put you on hold for a long time. There was a time when I kept having abdominal pain and once a PA did a pelvic exam and said, ""Does this hurt?"" and I said ""yeah!"" and she aid in a rude and anoid tone, "" Its just a muscle"". She refused to go in any deepr to look cuz at hte time was a virgin. She was just rude. I went in once for having hand tremors and having jolts in my sleep and the PA put me on Clonazepam which is considered a very dangerous drug, a benzodiazapine,very addicitve and I didnt know this. I still have not been able to get off it. at first it casued me to be really clumbsy. I kept having accidents at awork like running into corners and walls and falling when bending over/ I even had petit mal seizures becasue of the medicine. I went to Nuerologist refered to by them and i had to have MRI for nothing. It was the meds that caused all those problems, no tumor. I was terrified I had a tumor. I was having trouble with my memory and confusion, and they sent me to Nuerologist. I take the meds only at night now and I am fine. because of them always insisting that I need to be seen (from side effects from meds) and from tests thedy had to do that insurance didnt cover i got a huge bill. When i came to them for them to fill out paper work,they said in a rude tone really loud, "" you have a bill here over a thousand dollars, you need to pay it or we will send it to collections!"" and other patients heard and it was embarassing. I am so greatful for my new dr office at Mercy Medical Group in carmicahel. They are amazing and so kind. more

I went to this clinic when medi cal was switched over to managed care in sac county..What a Joke...I am not Russian first off..not saying they are bad, but I speak english not russian. No Doctor only PA..I was very lucky in getting a good one...DR. HAG..no joke that wass her name..Romanian I think..She was fired for spending to much time with her patient's. UN FREAKING REAL, but very true. I do not play when it comes to my health care and no how to make them do their jobs..Still had to leave after three visits..It is a patient Mill no doubt...DO NOT GO. Get ahold of your omnibudsman, as well as insurance company and tell them. more

They are horrible!!!!!!!. Horrible reception whether it be by phone, front desk sign in, appointment making. It's ridiculous. You stand or are left on hold forever! If they are busy they justify hanging up the telephone on purpose. They overbook the appt. times so that the waiting room is standing room only-it's like you are treated like cattle! I think they are very dangerous in the running of this office. I blame the doctors for not caring about the desk situations. Even when you need referrals for special care, they say their staff will arrange it and then call you... there is no follow up and they don't do it... they forgot me several times and never called back. They are dangerous because it makes people just give up like I did. Eventhough I was suppose to be seen by 2 specialists. Those doctors have no right be called doctors when they have no basic manner towards their patients regardless of their skills. They are not motivated to heal or better the condition of the patient, they play with lives of the patients. The usual agenda is entering the room, exchanging couple words and them leaving the room without carefully observing the condition of the patient. more

Even if you are about to die, DO NOT GO TO MANZANITA MEDICAL CLINIC. I do not even know where to start. First of all, most of them are not doctors, I think there is a one doctor an 5-7 PA, when you think you having an appointment with a doctor, actually you having an appointment with very bad educated PA. even if you have an appointment with a real doctor (i think they have one there) ask where the doctor was educated the answer is in former USSR, even though former USSR had a very good medical education it was possible to buy a medical school diploma in 90's then come to this country take an test and become a official MD in USA. I heard a lot of roomers like this, I am from Russia myself. I cannot tell this is the case, but I know there is a possibility. I recently moved from LA to Sacramento, and this is the only office here I could find for my Russian only speaking mother and father otherwise I would not go there, but I have to sometimes. This office is the worst nightmare, everything bad you can imagine it's there. Another example: to make more money they make appointments every 5 minutes, I was there once, my father had an appointment @ 2:30 and when I was sitting in unbelievable big line, I met 2 old women who had an appointment @ 2:30 too, both of them to the same doctor. Not convinced it's a scam artists? OK another example in the same line (I sit in line every time I have to go there for about 90 minutes) so in that line some guy told me they prescribe you very serious medical procedures, when you do not even need them, because they charge you insurance, and they willing to tell you that you are dying just to make couple of extra bucks. Need more? OK it's the rudest place I ever been in to , and believe you me I was in many rude places in my life in USA as well as USSR and Russia. People like this was called trash back in my country, no body respected them, no body even spoke with them. It's a trash and it smells like trash. So I can go on and on, but the long story short, if you love yourself, if you respect yourself NEVER, NEVER go to Manzanita Medical Clinic, you better go to the worst place you will ever find, and get free medical attention, and you will be in a better hands then this hole. Think twice if you want to trust you health to someone like this. P.S If you will see some good reviews about this place, do not believe in it, because there is no way anyone in this world could be satisfied with the office, so if you see something good about this place, it's a fake, they paid someone to write something good about them. more

Stay as far away as possible from this clinic! worst experience ever!!! No help whatsoever, very unprofessional and rude staff! Had to wait in a small room for 1/2 hour to see a nurse because there was no available doctor to see me, wow, ! Went there for NOTHING! Just threw my money away that's All !!! more

This is the most unprofessional medical clinic i have been to. I was kept on hold for 13minutes, the staff is rude and do not listen to your need they do not listen to what you have to say they cut you off by putting you on hold. I got shots and while in was sitting in the little room the nurse got the vaccine out of a refrigerator that had ants crawling all over it! This clinic should be shut down. Pros: Nothing! I have worked in the health field for many years. I assure you upon my first visit to Dr. Greeburg's office was not only professional but, the staff was very aware of what their job discriptions entail. I as a new patient and a new resident to this city recieved very good care not only from Dr. Greenburg but, the total staff themselves. Doctor Greenburg not only answered and dealt with on going health issues of mine he pointed me into the next directions needed for my care. I will be a patient of Dr. Greenburg as long as I am in need of his service as a health care provider!!!. Pros: They are pleasent and thorough with my medical issues!!! I agree with everything that has been posted. Unprofessional staff. Constant errors. Shoddy service. I do not feel as though I am recieving anything close to adequate health care at this clinic. X-rays are obtained across the alley, in a filthy, room with rust on the door (to the alley) and stains on the floor of unknown origin. Pros: absolutley none Cons: dangerous more

Agreeing with everything that has already been written, i have to add...1) they do not take cash 2) They do not check insurance and if your eligable 3) after you find out that you have to pay they put you on collection if you dont 3) If you pay off in full, in cash what you owe....there collection company will harass you in a year to pay.... obviously no communication what so ever in that office. The worst customer care you can imagine. Rude personel, especially the front desk. Unprofecional medical assistants. The doctors are ok, but you would have to ""break The Chineese Wall"" to get to them. Try calling them, you will be placed on hold for 68 minutes!!!(that is not a joke!). When you come in for scheduled appoitment prepare to spend 3-5 hours in the lobby!!! Pros: no Cons: service, lobby, parking,phone calls. more
