my mother was in manor care for a week it was terrible staff was not friendly did not make eye contact when you walked past nurses station no one even looked up at you when my mom rang for aid to go to bathroom it took 15 minutes I would not send my dog to manor care they don't care about there patients my mom is hard of hearing no one made sure that she heard what they were saying I did not see her doctor the whole time she was there and she did not get a shower that week more

This is the worst nursing home I have ever seen. While my sister was in the rehab portion she was well taken care of. Once moved to the nursing home area, I was shocked, 3 patients to a room, she was placed in with 2 bedridden older ladies. My sister is 56, she had a stroke, has no feeling on right side and limited verbal skills but she still can get herself in wheelchair, dress, etc. She has no room to move around. Her bed looked like it hadn't been swept under in weeks and the poor old women next to her told me she was feeling bad but could not ring for the nurse because her alert button was on the floor instead of being hooked to the bed. It looked dirty and very unorganized. Something need to be looked at here and changes made. These are human beings. more

Patient went from Stage 5 to Stage 1 in the care of this facility. Tbe famiy of the patient had informed me that the patient was at this facility; but upon visiting I found the patient in hospital; the family did not know about it. more

First let me say that I am writing this review, so that no other person and their family have to go through with my grandmother and my family has. While there are a few exceptions, for the most part the staff lacks compassion, manners, and professionalism. We have had numerous meetings with not only individual staff members, but also the heads of all department and the director of the facility to express our concerns, we are always promised that the problems will be addressed and unfortunately they never are. A few of our complaints have been that when the call bell turned on it could take up to 20 minutes for someone to come into the room, if a patient has had an ""accident"" everyone tells you it is not there job, they need to get someone else, etc and the resident could wait up to an hour before someone comes in to help them, there have been several occasions where my grandmother did not receive a meal, she has fallen SEVERAL times and we are often not notified. While in their care my grandmother has had several health issues arise, that they over looked that could have been life threatening ( blood clot, kidney failure, seizer activity) thankfully I could go on and on. This is not the place that you want to send your love one. They will not be cared for with dignity, respect, and the compassion they deserve Cons: Everything more

This place is a joke. I feel for anyone who has to go there. My Mother was transferred there from GBMC after her back surgery for physical therapy. These people have no idea what they are doing. The only thing they want to do is keep people drugged up so they don't have to deal with them. Two days in a row they skipped her dinner. We had to ask for it (even though the lady she shared a room with received hers. When she asks about what medicine she is supposed to be taking, they said "I don't know, let me check your chart." If she didn't ask, they never would have brought her the meds she needed. They don't bother to sit people up when they serve meals. They just let you lay in the bed. They are lazy. They take forever to respond. They don't bother with you unless you ask for their help (several times), then they act like it's bothersome to them. The place is very outdated and not to clean. On the plus side, the physical therapists are very nice and helpful, but they are not more
