I've been using Mandarin Carpets since we moved her in '95. I've always used them to do my houses, and I've always had a good experience with them! They are on time, and the workers are polite. Mandarin Carpets installed hardwood flooring at my home. I looked into a few other companies but ultimately went with them because of their customer service. Their prices are also very reasonable. When she came out to do the estimate, she was very pleasant and informative. I also really liked the quality of the samples. The installation went very smoothly. The fellow Mandarin Carpets sent out to my home to fix soft spots in the floor was very pleasant. He did everything he could to resolve the issue, taking up part of the floor to apply an undercoating that firmed it up a bit. Having workmen in your home can be a stressful experience sometimes, but I was very happy with this gentleman and would use the company again. more

My experience was very unusual. They stored my tile that was for the main floor in my condo for around three and a half years. I had an understanding when I signed the contract with them, I just didn't know it would take that long. Everything worked out well, no one else would have done that for me. more

Mandarin Carpets put tile in most of my house: living room, dining room, hallways, and three bedrooms. It looks great. I got a little frustrated with the people at the store, but the person who laid the tile was great. When he was laying the tiles, it didn't go all the way up to the wall. This was my first experience with laying tile so I was concerned. I talked to the installer and he said that you put a little board along the edges to cover it up. So I contacted the salesperson. He said that they would put the board in and it was included because I had asked for the whole price. The next afternoon I got a phone call from Angela and she said "Oh, no it's not included. Let me talk to Dave." The following day I got a phone call from Dave saying "No, I didn't say that." I like people to be upfront. I know for a fact that was what he said. That frustrated me, but I guess my frustration was with Dave. In the end, they put the board in. I do think it was a good store. They've been there for 30 years and have a good reputation. That was the only glitch. In the end they did the right thing. The installer was also very courteous and nice and did a great job. He was pleasant to work with. I would use them again in the future. RESPONSE FROM MANDARIN CARPETS: Quarter round was not included in this project, however we supplied and installed painted quarter round to match baseboards complimentary. Another job that mandarin carpets goes above and beyond their obligation. That is why we are "a cut above " our mission statement. more

When they first came out and did the job and put the tiles down, there was still a lot of material between the tiles. When they put the grout down, the grout didn't stick as well as it should have, therefore there was a variation in color between the tiles. To remedy the situation, they bought a new sealant and came out and re-sealed everything, changing it to the right color. It now looks great. more

I had them demolish existing ceramic tile, and put in new porcelain tile. They were very responsive and used quality materials. They were very caring for their customers and had a great showroom. After the job was done, they did a great job cleaning up. more

Mandarin Carpets did a really nice job. I ordered the hardwood floor and they received it when they promised. They installed it in the time that they said they would be able to install it. I'm very happy with the installation job. more

We were referred to Mandarin Carpets from another guy that did some granite for us. He recommended them, and we went there and two other places. We felt they were more in tune with what we wanted. They let us see samples and take them home, and we decided on the nylon carpet we had installed. The installer and his helper did an excellent job. more

The guy from Mandarin Carpets that installed the wood-tile was a master craftsman. He did an excellent job-it looks perfect. The way he laid it down, it is the most beautiful floor I have ever seen. I was also impressed by the professionalism, it exceeded our expectations. I would absolutely recommend them. The tile also doesn't scratch, fade, or chip but it looks like wood. It is fantastic! more
