Great looking little restuarant that's a well kept secret in La Jolla; ie, great place for a first date. Start out with the liver pate on toast complemented with a bottle of excellent house red wine, and you've already set a romantic mood for the rest of the evening. The menu is traditional French — frog's legs, escargot... don't freak out, there's also steak au poivre and an awesome rack of lamb. The star attraction in my opinion is the flaming crepes suzette; both theater and food. Don't forget to call in advance, as the one nightly seating fills up fast.
