Gas Stove Repair 2/23/2018

We felt very fortunate to have Steve S. come to our house to repair our gas stove. He had previously worked for a gas stove company, so he was very knowledgeable. He identified the problem quickly and it ended up costing us less than we expected. A pleasant surprise! Both Steve S. and Steve C. were very polite. Also, Valerie was exceptionally pleasant on the phone. This is the second time we have used Mainstream. Both very positive experiences. Thank you. more

I first spoke with Stormy - what a delightful person to have represent your company. Steve was pleasant and very thorough, he got the job done right the first time. Hello. Don arrived on time and got right to work after I explained what the problem was. He troubleshot the issue and started checking the wall sockets where he suspected the problem was located. After a few minutes he came back upstairs and told me that I had two bad GFCI outlets. He didn't have replacements in his truck so he went to the store to purchase two more. He came back and had the job done in a matter of minutes. He did a very good job and was very personable, cordial and efficient in his duties. Overall he was here about an hour and twenty minutes or so. I'm glad the the young lady that I spoke with on the phone a week or so earlier called me back after my initial contact. Her follow up helped me out immensely. Thank you for that. She too was very cordial and courteous on the phone. Both of these two young people are good ambassadors for your company. Please thank them both for me. My only concern was the high cost for fixing this fairly simple task. more

Mainstream Electric exhibits the type of customer service most businesses dream of; it truly seems to be a culture throughout their company. From the initial phone call with Stormy to the point Josh the technician left my home I felt like they did everything possible to make sure I was satisfied with the service. I would definitely recommend them to anyone needed Electrical/HVAC/Plumbing work. more

Alex and Steve were very professional and helpful. I liked the fact they cover their shoes before coming in. The office staff returned my call to say they had not forgotten me as one of the techs couldn't make the call sometime ago because of surgery? They also let me know when the techs were on the way. I would like to recommend & praise Mike Pool and the 2 apprentices (sorry, I didn't write down their names) who worked with him as well as Robert who came first on Tuesday and diagnosed the problem, then completely and clearly explained the problem and the various solutions. Robert worked up several estimates and explained them clearly to fix the electrical problem that I was having. On Thursday Mike and the apprentices came and immediately started in replacing and correcting the wiring in the outlets, switches and overhead lights. They worked almost non-stop, barely taking time for a sandwich all day, except for the garage finished the main level of the house. Friday morning, Mike and the apprentice were back, quickly completing the main floor and then tackling the basement level and the required updates to the Load Center. Again, they worked non-stop, completing everything by late afternoon. At all times they all were friendly, very helpful moving bookshelves, etc. to access the outlets, putting up with our animals, explaining anything if I had a question. I am familiar with electrical work of this nature and their work was very correct and professional. I was pleasantly surprised by everyone involved and cannot praise them enough. Horrible time management 6/27/2017

If I could rate a zero I would. I called Mainstream On late Friday or Saturday 7/23/17 or 7/24/17. Expressed a need for a very knowledgeable tech to come out and evaluate an air flow issue I am experiencing with new equipment. At the time of the call I explained that my work schedule presented itself as the following Tue-Sat. 6am -3pm. I was told that they could have a "knowledgeable tech" out on the following Monday (6/26/17) set for arrival around 12 noon and would be leaving no later than 3pm. I then stated that would be great however I did also have an appointment with a Doctors. at 3:45pm that day as well and I would really appreciate the arrival time frame to accommodate this. The rep stated and ensured me that she would make very detailed notes so this was not over looked. Monday 12 noon rolled around and a Dispatcher by the name of Chris called to confirm I was home, upon confirmation he stated that he had a tech that just got done with a job and would route them my way. 1.5 hours later no one was on location. I called Chris back and inquired as to where the tech was. He then stated he would look into it and return my call. Upon returning the call he stated that they were further out than what he originally understood them to be. And they would be on location soon. I then inquired as to when and how far out they were. When he informed me of their whereabouts it turned out that the technician was over 30 minutes away. At this point I opted to reschedule because knowing the depth of the project the tech would need some time to evaluate the issue and look over the information I had for him. Chris then stated he could have the tech out on Tuesday 6/27/17 after 330pm. I get home on Tuesday (6/27/17) to receive a call stating that they could not make it and they could set my on the schedule for 6/28/17 from 8am to 10am. (This means they do not pay attention to anyone’s requests let alone read notes.) I highly suggest that you steer clear of this company by all means. more

We recently contracted with Mainstream Electric to upgrade the coaxial cable runs and provide exterior accent lighting. Corinne, from Dispatch was always very accommodating by providing convenient service appointments and answering questions that we had about the process. He phone manners are pleasing and concise. She has been a joy to work with. Corey and Nick were our service techs and performed our requested work in a professional and courteous manner. They were pleasant, conscientious and always on time. They worked hard but never seemed to be rushed or cutting corners. All of the questions that we could think of were answered satisfactorily and we are satisfied with the quality of the work performed. We are enjoying our improved TV and internet signal quality and enjoy the mood and illumination enhancements that their collective work has provided. Without a doubt, we would use Mainstream Electric again when the need and/or desire for repair or home improvement occurs. Thank you so much! more
