Magnum Car Wash & Quick Lube

Do Not Use This Business Unless You Like Scratches In Your Car! I have been a loyal customer at this carwash for several years. Last weekend though I took my SUV to it. When the employee was done wiping the vehicle down, it was covered in deep white line scratches (it is a black suv). I immediately reported it and the cashier took pictures. The damage was isolated to the areas the employee had pressed his jacket (so I'm thinking zipper) against the body of the car. Since I had watched the employee open the doors and step on the running boards to reach the top, I immediately suspected the jacket. I filled out an incident report and took my own pictures of the damage. I received a call from Stephanie, who told me that she and the ""owner"" had reveiwed the report and the video and do not believe they did the damage. Actually told me that the employee never touched the top of the vehicle. When I countered with the fact that my wife and I had watched him wipe the top of the vehicle by stepping up on the running boards, she said she could re-review the footage, but it wouldn't change their decision. I told her that I did not believe they ever looked at the video and that I would never use nor reccommend them again. Though the carwash is brushless, BEWARE because once you have employees manually wiping the vehicle the likely hood of scratching the car is greatly increased. Too bad this carwash doesnt really care about loyal customers or owning up when accidents happen! more

I went to the Magnum car Wash on Silas Creek In Winston-Salem on May 25th. When I got home, i noticed the cover to the air bag on the passenger's side was loose. It was done while cleaning the interior of my car. They also turned on the map lights under the rear view mirror and my battery went dead and I had to call AAA and I had to miss the dedication of my little grandbaby. When I reported the damage, the employees at the car wash took my report and said they would submit it. I called several times and was referred to Carla Cosmar 413-8803. Without even seeing my car she said there was no way the car wash could have done the damage. I told her I was 100% sure the damage was done at the car wash. She just argued with me and made me feel like I was an incompetent old lady who didn't know what I was saying. She said it was probably already damaged, but I just didn't notice. I am frustrated, angry and don't now where to go from here. I called Flow Motors and they said it would cost over $100.00 to fix. I am on a fixed income, 77 years old and I feel like I have been totally abused my Carla. The staff at the car was (Michelle and Eunice) assured me that Magnum would take care of my car. every time i have been in there the blond girl is on the cell phone with her friends or family. She acts as though she is doing you a favor taking your money. The line backs up but she just keeps blabing. Pros: car wash good Cons: office help more

They did a great job cleaning my Mercedes SL500. The staff was friendly and took great car in detaling my car. Pros: My car left looking brand new in and out. Cons: I don't live close to this car wash more

This car wash stole my ipod and my itrip out of the middle console while they were vacuuming out my car. When I went to the manager to report his workers, he cursed at me, saying that people report theft from his car wash all the time. If you want a valuable posession stolen out of your car, take it here. Otherwise, please stay far, far away! Pros: The car wash didn't take anything else valuable from my car.
