Magical Plan-It Events

Total no-call/no-show to my 3/23/13. DO NOT BOOK WITH THESE PEOPLE. THEY ARE A TOTAL SCAM. Now they're not answering e-mails or phone calls for my refund after they breached their own contract. I will sue, if I have to. more

Magical Plan-It was GREAT! We had them come to our wedding reception and it was a huge hit! Everyone loved the booth, it may have been everyone's favorite reception activity. It also gave us some great pictures to keep for later of all of our friends and family. I would recommend using Magical Plan. They are professional and courteous, and really do try to meet every need. Alex was our service rep, and he was great. He was very helpful with all of our questions and requests, and did a great job! I would use Magical Plan-It again for another event. more

I was at a wedding that used Magical Plan Photo Booth yesterday 1/5, and it was so much fun!! I must say, out of all the weddings I've attended that has had photo booths, this one by far was the most interesting. They had props which were a HUGE hit with everyone, and on top of that, their booth could fit like 8 people! I mean seriously, where can you find one like that?! I also liked the option of having the choice of picking black or white for the photos, they came out right away and the staff were so nice and interactive! I would DEFINITELY recommend them to any friends planning a wedding that wants even more lasting memories! It was just so much fun!!\r more

Words cannot describe, nor gifts repay the amazing job Alex did for our daughter Kate and her husband Steve! From start to finish, it's in the details and Alex did not miss one... We feel truly blessed that Kate found Alex, and not only are we proud to add Steve to our family, we feel Alex is now a part of our family as well!! more

Our wedding was on Nov. 17th, 2012. Bought a groupon with this company... then they called us saying ""groupon"" did something wrong so we had to get reimbursed from Groupon. After that happened they said they can still offer the service, just send the money directly to them. We paid them for the photo booth services months in advance. Before we paid they were insisting in their calls, after we paid it was difficult to get a hold of them. A week before the wedding I was getting concerned so tried to call them (AGAIN) a bunch of times and sent them e-mails. Finally received an e-mail two days before the wedding confirming that they were going to show up. Guess what... THEY DID NOT SHOW UP. Worst, since then we have been trying to get a hold of them to get our money back, no response… more

I agree with Samantha! I have had a horrible experience with ""Magical Plan-it"" I paid living social and have left several emails and voicemails at ""MPI"". It is a major scam!! DO NOT USE! Alex finally emailed me this evening from his iphone saying he didn't honor my voucher. First thing tomorrow morning I plan on calling Living Social to get reimbursed. more

The WORST company that I have ever dealt with. The people writing good reviews, I guess you were some of the lucky few. I booked a photo booth with them that I bought through Living Social months ago, and now that my wedding is coming up- they email me saying that they no longer honor the vouchers and we can pay in cash on the day of the event. Why would I pay cash if I already paid Living Social $350!? I emailed them back saying that this was ridiculous and demanded that they not breach our contract.... Desiree, in her very poor and unprofessional manner, told me that she did not want to render services to unhappy people. Why would I be a happy customer when you told me you're not going to hold your end of the contract!!!! I was never apologized to nor was I worked with. This is a business that clearly does not know how to be ran. Luckily, Living Social understood my concerns and refunded me my money. Desiree tried to blame all of the choas on Living Social, but Living Social wasn't even aware that there was something going on. To add insult, Desiree is not intelligent enough to spell correctly, or use spell check for that matter- it were as if you were arguing with your friend back when you were in middle school, NOT dealing with an alleged business. Horrible experience. Do not waste your time or money with them. more

They did the uplighting for my wedding day and delivered as promised. The lights were just so beautiful and put the finishing touches on my design just as my planner said it would. They were very professional and I got to meet the president when they were picking them up at the end and thanked him myself and told him what a wonderful job the lighting designer did. more

Desiree did such an amazing job at my wedding. I will say over and over that I would not have made it down the aisle without her! She not only pieced together what I've been planning but she fixed all my mistakes and pretty much was the glue on our wedding day. I don't, well I know I would not have had the amazing day I had without her. Thank you Desiree!! more

I purchased a living social voucher for a photobooth from magical plan-it and booked it for my wedding this past Saturday Nov 3rd. Everything was set months ago. On early Oct I tried contacting them by phone but was never able to get an answer. Left voicemails and never recieved a call back. I decided to email them and I finally got a response. I just wanted to make sure we were on the same page and I wanted to make some changes in venue and time. They answered me back and confirmed the changes and assured me we were all set. Come the day of the wedding and THEY WERE A NO SHOW. We were unable AGAIN to reach anyone over the phone. On Monday I emailed them and they answered prompty stating the following: more

We loved our photobooth! Our guests loved our photobooth! It was SO much fun. There was always a line for it, and it was a great place for our guests to mingle. Desiree' was very responsive and professional before the wedding, and the operators on the day of were just perfect. They were fun and friendly and encouraged our guests to leave us messages in the photobook. While I'm excited for my professional pictures, I still think the photobooth book will be my favorite keepsake. It really showed all of our guests personalities. My only regret is that I didn't get in the booth enough!! I highly recommend Magical Plan-It more

Their customer service is HORRIBLE! I had a baby shower event booked for months with them (that of course they gladly took my money for with no problem), called and confirmed the week before, only for the company to never show. I've been calling every number they have listed since Sunday to get in touch with ANYONE and have been completely ignored. Great way to run a business!! more

I secured this company's services approximately 1.5 yrs in advance of my Wedding Date. 1 yr later, little to no progress was made for the event. Over the year of working with this company, many promises were made & broken, repeatedly. There wasn't consistent correspondence; an address was changed and I wasn't notified, a phone number was changed and I wasn't notified, I had to send e-mails repeatedly to get any answers, communication is vital when planning a Destination Wedding and it's extremely disconcerting that I even had to request this information. I do not like to 'badger', and although I do understand not receiving an immediate response, not responding until a 3rd or 4th attempt is unacceptable. I was & still am highly disappointed, and quite frankly heartbroken. Thus I submitted an official notice of cancellation. I was immediately contacted by the Owner of the company who made many offers to maintain my status as a client. I discussed the propositions with my Family. Valuable time had already been wasted investing in empty promises from the company. Thus, we were simply not willing to take the risk of incurring any more stress & disappointment. I maintained my cancellation status, and mailed a signed copy. I requested my full amount invested, because the company did not meet the duties outlined in the agreement. After multiple requests for an expected receipt date & amount of the refund, I was finally contacted by the owner, who stated it would by 60 days from the written notice and the refund amount would be anything paid aside from the deposit. Again I requested the full amount I invested, because the company did not meet the duties outlined in their agreement. I became extremely emotional at this point and a spiteful e-mail string followed between me & the owner. In a brief moment of insane irritation & frustration I posted on a Wedding Website warning other brides away from the company, I included a link to a fraud / scam alert website where various posts by other individuals were made regarding the owner, employees, company etc. I only wish I would've found before I secured their services. This action ultimately resulted in the owner informing me that I might find it best to settle this in court. More than 60 days from the written cancellation notice, has come and passed, I still haven't received anything. I have submitted a complaint on the Florida Attorney General's website, Better Business Bureau, & Florida Department of Agriculture & Consumer Services. more

Magical Plan-It & their sister company Cake Pop-It was nothing short of amazing always available when we needed them. They truly kept things calm and their professionilsm was second to none. Thank you so much!!!! more

We used Magical Plan-It for our Lighting and DOC. Their Lighting tech was amazing and was able to hit our very hard color. Our DOC was much more then just a day of planner she was a friend, a professional and a life saver. We cannot thank you, guys enough and would recommend this company to anyone. more
