What I think many people still don?t know is that this boat ride inspired the Pirates of the Caribbean movie, not the other way around. If you haven?t been on this attraction since the blockbuster trilogy came out, you might notice a few changes, mainly Captain Jack Sparrow popping up in many a scene! This ride is fun for fans of the movie of all ages. more

This is one of my favorite rides in Disney. Worth the wait to see, there's a reason this classic still attracts a crowd. It's fun, after having seen the movie, to see how they really drew inspiration from the ride. A don't miss. Pros: classic, fun, cool and shaded Cons: longer line more

This is probably one of the best rides that the Magic Kingdom has. It is definitely not the most modern, but it is fun and enjoyable! It allows you to sit back, relax and most importantly, LAUGH! Not everything has to be thrills and chills! Pros: relaxing, funny more

Cheap Caribbean Cruise ! 10/6/2002

This ride was realistic, peaceful, interesting, realistic and full of intrigue. When visiting Magic Kingdom with the hot Florida sun bearing down, this ride is a lovely and slow respite from the crowds and heat. THIS WAS FUN !!! Cons: Great ride ! more

The Pirates are after ya! Better get a move on! Actually this ride was one of the better rides I went on. It's calm and serene and fun. Lots of animatronics and stuff and just all over funny. You get wet, you get thrills, spills and laughs. It's a ride everyone up to the age of 80 will enjoy! Pros: good rides, great food, Good Facilities Cons: long lines, hot weather, rainy more

    A prime example that Disney can be amazingly creative without being cute, Pirates of the Caribbean remains one of Magic Kingdom's best rides. Visitors begin the indoor boat ride with an immersion into complete darkness, but soon feel the light breeze and smell the musty odor of waterside adventures. There's almost too much to soak in as you ride past animatronic pirates raiding a town or skirt through a sea battle with exploding cannons.
