I have only tried two of Maggie's baked goods, the Mikado and the freshly baked oval, flaky Gata. I think they are perhaps the best baked goods sold anywhere in LA. The Mikado is more chocolately than anywhere else, thus, the dough is a darker color, and the flavor is more chocolate-infused. It is actually best when it is a day or two old, as the frosting has had time to sink into the dough, but when it is freshly made, it is cruchier. As for the Gata, it is buttery and rich, and flaky and delicious--but only when fresh out of the oven. While still good, it loses something on the second day. But this is a good thing--and indication that the Gata is free of preservatives. Highly recommended!
Pros: Delicious Mikado and Gata
Cons: none that I can think of right now.
