Ice Cream Cakes are Perfect! 12/17/2008

I was trying to find a birthday cake for my brother and thought i'd try a Maggie Moo's ice cream cake. It was amazing! I can't believe I hadn't thought of it before. You can customize your cakes just like the ice cream you get there. And its about the same price as going out and getting a cake and ice cream separately. We're going to get cupcakes for our Christmas Party this weekend and I'm sure everyone will love them as well. Pros: cakes are made fresh and custom more

Best Ice Cream in Franklin! ...And fun! 12/17/2008

I just found the Maggie Moo's in Cool Springs and it has AMAZING ice cream! I used to be a Cold Stone person but the ice cream at Maggie Moo's is just better. I think it tastes fresher. The kids behind the counter made it fun (they don't sing, but thats kind of nice) and its very clean. I highly recommend trying it. Pros: Great service, infinite combinations more

NOT a good experience 1/7/2008

The service was very bad and the two girls couldn't have looked less interested in being there.\r The ice cream milkshake was not what i had expected. You can get more at Marble Slab or even Cold Stone.\r Marble Slab has better portions, better selection and better quality. We will NOT go back. That was our first and only experience with any Maggie Moos.\r The seating was limited and dirty. \r The good thing was no waiting, maybe that should've been our sign to leave beforehand. Best Ice Cream in Franklin 7/25/2007

I shouldn't admit how often my kids and I go to Maggie Moos. The ice cream is really good and there is a wide variety of options for mix-ins. There is also a good variety of flavors and there is always a non-dairy option as well. We've also ordered ice cream cakes and shakes- both of which are out of this world. I think the store itself has much more personality than competitors like Coldstone Creamery. The only negative thing about Maggie Moos is the price- the child scoop is $3 for pete's sake. However, unlike Ben & Jerry's, they allow adults to order the child scoop! more
