Nice Restaurant 11/3/2010

Nice and cozy restaurant. Awesome food and mouthwatering dishes. My favourite dish is the rigatoni D chicken plate, it was really yummy. From the family oriented ambiance to the delicious foods, you will not go wrong here. I with my few friends went Chart House to celebrate my new job. The food was extremely well prepared and the staffs were very hospitable. Everything was just perfect. I love this restaurant due to its location, atmosphere and most importantly the food. more

standard italian food 9/4/2005

To be fair, I've had a lot of Maggiano's catering for events, both at the restaurant and off-site. So maybe there is a difference with just a single meal (only had a normal meal once and I don't remember what it was like). I found everything to be fairly ordinary. They had HUGE amounts of meat for their meat dishes. I had pretty good salmon once. The bread is good. But so is most bread everywhere. I've also had the chance to drink a lot of their wine and found it to taste nice and flow freely. The servers are really nice whenever I have been there. more

Italian restaurant with standard fare served in huge portions. A fun place to dine with friends, but maybe too noisy for dates. Prices are reasonable, especially you will definitely have leftovers for the following day. more

Huge Portions 9/1/2005

Great for going in groups or on a romantic date. The portions are huge. Calamari and baked zucchini appetizers are good. Get the rigatoni d for the entree. Drinks are pretty good too. For large groups, they have a family menu. Atmosphere is great. more

Yummy 8/7/2005

This place does excellent Italian food!!! After a long day of shopping at South Coast Plaza, what could be better than this?? The service has always been excellent, and even though the menu items are bit high, the food is worth it. The ambience makes this a really nice experience. more

It's A Wonderful Family Rest. 8/6/2005

Maggiano's is a great family restaurant. The food that they servers you are enough for your entire family. They are not afraid of offering more food. The problem is that the wait takes forever. If you go on the weekend they might not even accept walks in. I was there on Friday and they told ther walks-in that the restuarant is full for the night. Oh, it gets a bit loud inside the restaurant. So it is not a good place to sit and chat. Overall the food was GREAT~ A good restaurant to eat at!!! more

Great restaurant 6/21/2005

I love this place! I always get a sit (unless it's on a Friday night) and service is usually fast and friendly. The veal ravioli is amazing...I like to go on a Saturday afternoon for lunch. Good wine list. more
