Piss poor management and electrical violations through out apartment building. serious safety issues that keep being ignored by management.. took a year to get working dryers working in laundry room. Maintenance manager very rude and was not helpful at all. Fire system not working properly and fire head missing for at least six months, Still missing Exposed electrical wires in main hallway leading to apartments. Side walks broken and serious trip hazards Trash by dumpsters for weeks without being picked up more

I viewed several apartments, and if the maintenance was done, they could be nice - but they look like the previous occupant just left! Dirt in the corners, sticky drawers, holes in the walls, etc. The parking areas need a lot of work - potholes everywhere, unless you drive a 4 x 4 you are in danger of breaking something! I also went back without the company representitive and knocked on doors and was told dog owners do not pick up after their pets and that you can wait months for repairs! more

Extremely unprofessional staff. Some apartment complex are deteriorating...They never get back on time. It took me a week to schedule a showing and an agent never showed up!!! when we finally reached her by phone she said they were understaffed and did not even apologize for all this inconvenience. The road around the apartment building was in a terrible state just as the apartment building itself. I would never ever rent from this company! more

Madison Square Realty has provided me with a beautiful home. When I began searching for an apartment about eleven months ago I looked at several well-known complexes and on-line. I finally came across a website (mustseerentals) and contacted Madison Square Realty. When I saw one of their apartments, I rented it. It was comparable to a condominium my friend was renting in Boston for three times the price. I have now lived at this amazing property for nine months and I could not be more pleased with my residence or Madison's service. The apartment I reside in is by far the the most modern and most beautiful I could find anywhere in Western Mass. It surpassed any others I have seen in this area. As for Madison's service, it is friendly, accommodating, and extremely professional. Upon move-in, the apartment was immaculate. Oh yeah, they gave me a free lamp and welcome basket!!!! In my opinion, if you're a renter, it doesn't get better than this. Pros: Beautiful Apartments more

Mediocre apartments. I was charged for re-keying, and it wasn't re-keyed. I have asked for 'emergency' service, and they delivered nicely. They said the carpets had been shampooed, and the dirt was really visible. Not just dirty, physical dirt and grit on the floors. Bathrooms and kitchen nicely cleaned, though. Kind of up and down. I do think they're friendly and try to accommodate, but may be a little understaffed. But apartments are REALLY affordable. I'd say a good value for the money....you're not getting the Hyatt, but you're not paying for it, either. If you're on a budget and want a decent place, call them. Pros: Affordability, OK budget housing. And they allow cats, a plus for a lot of people. Cons: Service erratic, some things took a pretty long time to do. more
