Needed major engine repair. Went to the dealer and they wanted almost more than the car was worth. I read some good reviews about Made in America. I figured that if it was under what the dealership wanted I would be happy. The work was done when they said it would be done by. The cost of the repair came out to about half of what the dealer wanted.They wanted to see me before I went on a long trip and they checked everything out once again just to make sure that everything was working and there were no leaks. Good location, good workmanship, and great prices. more

Honest People 10/12/2011

Had numerous problems with my honda accord. Midas kept yanking my chain charging me for maintenance on my car that didnt even fix it. Took it here told them my story and problem. They fixed my car and gave me a full review of my vehicle cheaper then any place out there! Highly recommend. more

Another great experience 9/29/2011

I started coming to Made in Japan off of a recommendation from my cousin. I've never been disappointed or had to return because the problem wasn't fixed properly the first time. And, they mail out coupons which are good for a long period of time - so I hang on to those! I feel that they're honest and don't pressure me into any repairs I don't want. more

Satisfaction with Made In Japan's Workmanship 9/28/2011

I have been having my 1997 Subaru Impreza serviced by Made In Japan on I Street for maybe six years. I am completely at ease with their work and integrity. The last visit, the mechanic test drove my car, heard a noise, and found a ball bearing was going out. I never reported that noise as it was so subtle I wasn't sure anyone would believe me. Now, that is impressive. These people have always been kind to me to the point of going steps further than required to be helpful. more
