Last weekend, my mother and I went to the Macy's at Southlake Mall, and the music was so loud, it was like PRIMETIME on a Sunday!! Not only that, but when I went to the jewelry counter, I was completely ignored by the African American Associate working at the jewelry counter. \r
\r
She was helping another customer, and she never acknowledged me at the counter. Then when I addressed her, she said that she would be with me. She proceeded her sale with the other customer, completed the sale at the register, spoke with another customer, and then left the jewelry area that I was in, even though another customer, (not my mother), was also waiting at the counter and was not acknowledged either.\r
\r
I had been waiting so long that when my mother returned from looking at something else, I was still left standing there with my question unanswered about a $60.00 bracelet.\r
\r
I really wanted this for someone's Christmas gift, and I wanted to know if she knew what it was made out of - silver, pewter, etc., and my question was never answered because she left me standing there and never helped me.\r
\r
I felt like it was a terrible shopping experience! \r
\r
It was like a club with no people in the clothes.... HOW TACKY!!!\r
\r
If I had her name, I would have reported this directly, but she never gave it.\r

Moral Shopping Lesson 101: Don't go to Macy's....\r
\r
I used to work at SOUTHLAKE MALL, and I expect better service and so do other unnoticed customers.
